“ The hotel location was great to get to shops restraunts and entertainment only 5-10 minute walk.. Although a few busy roads to cross to get to centre. Although the beach was near due to the building works and renovation of the port a walk to the beach took around 30 minutes you pass by the gardens and walking through the gardens on route makes the walk cooler and much more pleasant.
The room was immaculate and comfortable and equipt with a mini bar, Tv and Wifi. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Watch out for additional charges. We didn't know that there were extra charges for beach towels as we got our full deposit back but tried to charge us when we left.
They did not cater for coeliacs. If given notice they would buy in bread only.
But the buffet had a wide selection to choose from.

If you have a late flight there was no where to change and shower before setting off other than the downstairs toilet.

“ Room Mate Lola is a fantastic hotel, this is our second stay there, and it is almost perfect except the mattresses are very hard, the breakfast is excellent quality and is from 7.30 a.m. until midday which is wonderful if you want to get up late.

“ Top Tip: tHE OLD TOWN IS LOVELY GREAT TAPAS BARS AND VERY REASONABLE

“ This hotel is in a quiet backstreet, very near to the train line from the airport. It is five minutes walk from the main shopping area and 20 minutes or so from the beach. I have stayed here a couple of times and will stay there again, I expect. The only complaint I have is that they play background music all day.
Breakfast is fine, but not like a 4-star business hotel.

“ Top Tip: If you like art, visit the contemporary art gallery. It is free, has a nice bar, and is very near the hotel. Just walk to the river and it is there on the left.
