“ There is ample parking and as you go into the main entrance to the hotel there is a view right through the building of the mountains. The gardens are very well laid out and enjoy the best views. There is a genteel ambience which makes you feel you are on location for the making of a Poirot movie. The staff were very helpful and the major sites of Ronda are all within working distance.

“ Top Tip: On a Friday evening eat in the main square (streets leading thereto are opposite the area between the bull ring and bridge over the gorge), Here you will experience Spanish family life at its very best with three sometimes four generations enjoying themselves; well worth sitting back taking in the atmosphere.

we had an initial hassle when we arrived as you had not notified the hotel of our booking. They only accepted our booking after I downloaded the confirmation hotel voucher from my emails. Your lack of efficiency caused us some anxious moments until we could prove our booking.

Once we booked in our room was possibly the best we have ever had due to its facilities and in particular its views.

I would be grateful for an explanation of why you had not notified the hotel of our booking. Had the hotel been full we would have been turned away! This was our 40th wedding anniversary so we wanted a special experience. We got it but with no thanks to yourselves.

“ Excellent hotel with lovely gardens but best of all free parking in Ronda which is worth a lot. Very friendly staff. Breakfast typically Spanish.

“ Top Tip: Have a walk around the garden of the hotel for a great panorama.

“ A very pleasant hotel, large comfortable room, excellent buffet breakfast. Slightly out of town, but the gardens and views outweigh that!
