our hotel room was perfect, over looking the bay. the hotel pool was right out side our front door, but very cold. the on site supermarket was well stocked and not over priced, hotel reception was all ways helpfull, rooms cleaned, beds made, towels changed every day. eating out was a little expencive on par with u.k.
the hotel meals are not up to much, well worth walking down into the bars in town, only 5 / 10 min walk away.
in all, a very relaxing holiday, and worth a visit, top marks for the hotel.
“ Top Tip: hotel food a bit motoway cafe, the restaurant just outside on the other side of the road is over priced. take a stroll down into town and try the pub grub.

The staff were very friendly. They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment from a 1 bedroom apartment for no charge!
The entertainment was great as there were 2 evening shows when we were there for 6 nights.
It was a quiet time of year to go so the area was extremely quiet and some shops and restaurants were closed.
The kids club was only on a for a couple of days because of the quiet season.
The lunch (snack menu open from 12 noon until 3pm) at the hotel was good value for the area. The sole was beautiful and fresh.
The half board option would have been good value if you were not a vegetarian but I don't think there was enough choice for a vegetarian.

“ Perfectly happy with my choice - maybe the hotel would be a bit too busy in high season, but September is a good time to go. The staff on reception (especially Mary) were very helpful and courteous; the facilities there are good and nothing seems too much trouble. The apartments are clean, airy and spacious. No complaints whatever.
“ Top Tip: Arenal beach is great for everyone - views are spectacular, facilities on the beach and nearby are very good and the swimming is safe. A great resort for families and couples.

Popular for families with kids so as long as you don't mind the noise of children (which we didn't) then it's a great place to have a chilled relaxing holiday with some nice restaurants nearby and of course the nice sandy beach.
Overall perfect for sun, sand, great food and a reasonably priced holiday.
“ Top Tip: Romano is a well run restaurant with some lovely food. Recommend their menu of the days!
