The idyllic villas, made from white chalkstone, lie amidst wonderful gardens which afford direct access to the beach. The villas are marked off from one another by low stone walls or fences. There is a car park for those arriving by car.The wonderful villas lie approximately 6.5 km from Ciutadella, which means that guests may escape from the daily hustle and bustle as well as enjoy fabulous views out over the sea. Those seeking entertainment will find everything they could wish for in the tourist centre that lies 1800 m away as well as the small harbour where guests will discover a selection of excellent restaurants, street cafes, entertainment and shopping venues.
Public transport can be found just a short distance from the centre and it is around 2 km from the villas to the local sandy beach that has been awarded a blue flag for its top levels of cleanliness. Transfer to the airport, which lies approximately 60 km away, takes roughly 45 minutes.The villas have 1 bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, 2 bedrooms with double beds, satellite/ cable TV, a dining area and an excellent kitchen with a washing machine. Each villa also comes with a hire safe.Each villa boasts a pleasant garden with lawns and a swimming pool, which is surrounded by a sun terrace with babacue. It is possible to make use of the BBQ located on the furnished veranda.Pets are not permitted.
There is a daily room cleaning service. Towels are changed twice a week and bed linen is changed once a week. Cleaning twice a week with change of towels (once on arrival and once during the week) and change of linen once a week.

When we arrived at the villa we were more than disappointed that
1) We were on the outskirts on Son Carrio (not even Cala Blanca)
2) Cala’n Bosch was approximately 7 kilometres away (approx 12 euro’s in a taxi)
3) The villa was basic standard
4) The villa was situated next to the main road so all we could hear was the constant noise of the traffic (not our idea of a peaceful holiday)
5) On checking villa Tamarinda on the internet is was recommended to have a car

“ When we arrived we were allocated the wrong property we had asked for a superior villa with air conditioning the villa that we were dropped of at was a basic villa and we had not been left the code to enable us to gain access. We had to call Viages Magon who rang us back and explained that it was a mistake on their part they gave us the name of the villa we were staying in and we had to walk and carry all of our cases. When we arrived someone met us there with the keys. We found out later that we had no hot water but by that time the office had closed. We rang them 1st thing Tuesday morning and they sent someone out straightaway our hot water was on by lunchtime. We have stayed in 4 of the superior villas and would recommend them.

Top Tip:
For a good value family meal we recommend The Oca restaurant 250yds from the villas.
A small but very friendly run family restaurant great for breakfast.

The villa itself was fine, although we much prefered the villa we were moved to on the Saturday nights due to the drains been blocked and leaking dirty water.
It certainly wasn't as nice as the pictures advertised on the website.
Also after been told it would be a 3 bedroomed villa it was not, there were only 2 bedrooms with a cot been left out in the joint lounge/diner/kitchen, was not impressed. Did not meet with expectations at all.
“ Top Tip: There was a nice restaurant with an indoor play area with a huge glass window so you could watch the kids play while you ate in peace, called Fiesta, which was in walking distance and right on the lovely marina.
