Matchani Gran

This typical Minorcan house from the 18th century has been lovingly restored in 2010 and converted into a simple family farmhouse. It offers a fridge, ice, glasses, a BBQ area and kitchen facilities. The property has 10 rooms, 8 of which have en suite bathrooms, and provides guests with Internet access, laundry service and a car park.The hotel is located a 10-minute drive from Mahen and a few kilometres from the village of Sant Climent. There is a bus service from Sant Climent to Mahen and Cala En Porter.

Sant Climent is a 15-minute stroll, where guests can find several bars and restaurants, banks, a chemist, a casino bar and the famous jazz night every Tuesday. The nearest beach of Binidali is 3 minutes away by car. Menorca Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 2 km.All en suite bathrooms have a shower, bath, shampoo, bath gel and a hairdryer. The towels are changed daily and guests may make use of the 1,000 paperback books and iron and ironing board.

All rooms also offer a safe, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning and heating.Guests may take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool and relax on the sun terrace. In the barn, guests have parasols and beach chairs at their disposal.From the airport, you will find a big round with the obelisc in the middle, and then you must take the third exit direction Calan Porter and Sant Climent. Follow this very straight road for about 1 km and as you enter Sant Climent turn left, signed Canutells and Binidali. Folow this road for about 1 km and on your left you will see the entrance to Matchani Gran flanked by 2 large round, white pillars with balls on top and painted with pink.
