Can Digus Apartments

“ We loved this place...really peaceful and quiet and lovely people all around.

rooms were big with a huge balcony and plenty of room to sit out. The swimming pool was great too. Just wish we could have a kettle in the kitchen, but other than that, thank you very much.

Another great holiday from you guys. Hope it's third time lucky in June when we go with you again to The Azores.

“ Top Tip: A fab restaurant called Es Pescador, lovely seafood.

“ Can Digus Apts were in a beutiful location directly overlooking the sea lots of boats constantly on the horizon and a short walk into the village with lots of bars and restaurants,and a lovely bakery for your fresh bread and cakes.
The resort of Fornells is hardly touched by tourism,and is perfect for a relaxing holiday,with a pretty little harbour to match.

“ Top Tip: Go to the bakery on the main street for warm fresh bread,buses a little infrequent you amy benefit from a hire car

“ The apartment was nice and clean and in a great location, however there was no reception staff or information notices. This made things a little difficult when our electricity went off and we had nobody to contact. The people at the bar attached to the apartments were very helpful and very friendly, however, the bar was closed for the most of our vacation, and left us feeling very isolated.
I did love the island and the location and would use these apartments again.

“ Top Tip: The whole village of Fornells is very pretty and very special, although its very very quiet and remote.

“ The C'an Digus apartments were basic but had everything we needed for a short break. We arrived at a busy lunchtime in the bar (G00d Friday) so had to wait around a bit to be shown to our apartment. I liked the fact that we were pretty much left undisturbed for the week. We had 1 change of towels during that week (which was fine) and the apartments were not cleaned during our stay. Some people may expect more service, but that suited us fine!

The apartments are just a few metres from the water. I loved the fact that rather than sit and look at the pool, I could take my breakfast across the road and enjoy a fabulous view in the sunshine. I'm missing it already.

Fornells is the best place to stay on the island. A proper little village, not like some of the ghastly purpose built resorts we saw when we travelled round!

“ Top Tip: The bar attached to the hotel does the best food in town, at very reasonable prices. I'd recommend eating there rather than the pricier alternatives near the harbour.
