“ The accommodation was basic, but then that is pretty much what we wanted, so "average" is not necessarily bad. It was generally clean and what we expected. There where a few odd things - the kitchen area was very small, there was no kettle or coffee pot. There was a microwave but no adjacent plug, the nearest one made it difficult to use both the mircowave and hob at the same time danerous\difficult.

Pool area was fine.

Sound insulation was not great between appartments, but this didn't actually prove to be a problem as the guests were all pretty sensible inspite of (?) being a pretty wide cross section of people.
The resort was quiet and pleasantly lacking in loud groups.

“ Top Tip: The whole part of the island is great for interesting beaches and coves which whilst busy were never crowded.

A car would have been useful, if we could have got one at less then an arm and leg, but we found the bus services reliable and comfortable, even if the timetables did not always seem very condusive to multi trip journeys.

“ 10 minutes walk to the beach or the village. Mainly Spanish families staying there. Used for people just staying one or two nights so lots of coming and going. Complex quite noisy. Rooms very basic. Hygiene not great especially the pool. No air conditioning. You have to do your own cleaning and change towels and bed linen. Small cafe bar has limited opening and only very basic menu. Staff however were excellent and as helpful as they could be.

“ Top Tip: If you have a car head inland as the restaurants are cheaper and better quality. In the village is a great ice cream parlour. Palomino and Smugglers are english owned and have entertainment and quizzes. There are great coves for snorkelling in the village. Cuitadella the old capital is very beautiful and possibly nicer than the new capital at Mahon.

“ Fairly basic and the staff were very "laid back" which was quite nice but they could have been slightly more attentive. The bar / restaurant opening hours were a bit varied. I would go back as it is a great location and very quiet.
