Cala Blanca Apartments

“ Basic but clean. Great location.

“ We arrived late due to flight delay, dropped at Cala Blanca hotel, walked to apartments in darkness(midnight). Phoned the number on notice board, there was no booking for us. We had to find a taxi to drive us to all local hotels, eventually found two rooms in hotel in Ciutadella,at 0200. A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Got to the apartments next day after phone calls to UK. We found the apartment very basic,SMELLY (drains), and NOISY at night, but we had a great week, lovely weather. The pool was great for the children as not used much by other visitors. An information pack would be very useful, or go to nearby hotels which all have local info. The bus stop to Ciutadella is across the road, great for an evening out.Two bathrooms useful and clean but one bath un useable due to hole in the base of it. The cleaner is around most days, but we had toask for sheets &towels. Again, info about this& where to put rubbish, etc should be provided in a welcome pack.

“ Top Tip: The bus to Ciutadella gives a better choice of cafes and restaurants. It is a beautiful city.

“ We arrived at the apartment and it was absolutely disgusting. It smelt very damp and musty. None of the doors or windows locked properly and the cupboard doors were falling off. It was totally unacceptable. I called the rep and they immediately got us moved to the Club Andria which was much better (apart from the ant problem in the kitchen).

“ It was our first time to Cala Blanca, and were very happy with the resort. Plenty of places to eat out, and the beach was across the road from our apartments. The buses were frequent into Ciutadella, a beautiful historical town about 20mins on the bus. (approx 3 euros). We had a lovely relaxing holiday. It was great to wind down.
We had very litttle trouble in our apt. Asked for a sea view and were lucky to get one! (All be it through the pine trees). The apartment was clean and towels changed every other day and bedlinen twice during our 11 night stay. You will need to take a kettle, we had a little travel one anyway as through experience in self catering apts in Spain they usually do not have kettles. No toasters either. You could cook a meal as there were all the utensils there, but we found the electric rings slow to heat up. But we could live with that. Everyone was very friendly, and we met people who had been coming back to Cala Blanca for years. We could see why!

“ Top Tip: We walked around the coast line to view the beautiful sunsets from the East point of Cala Blanca. Don't miss that! A group of shops and restaurants are towards the top part also, we discovered 'Jenny's restaurant' - food great! Visit Ciutadella, to see the old historic town and cathedral. Architecture is beautiful. We did not hire a car, but we met people that did, and they enjoyed visiting the ancient settlements in the area. We enjoyed relaxing on the lovely clean beach with it's clear warm sea to swin in.
For a relaxing holiday in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, this is the place for you!
