Renovated in 2004, this apartment complex offers a 2-storey building and consists of 35 apartments. It comprises a reception, a pizzeria restaurant beside the pool.This apartment complex is situated only 350 m away from the beach. Public transport is to be found at 600 m.The functional apartments all have a living room one and two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchenette, TV, microwave, toaster, kettle and a ceiling fan in every room and hire safe.Guests may take advantage of the pool in the grounds. The nearest golf course is about 35 km from the hotel.Coming from the port or airport of Mahen, take the main road toward Ciutadella. Right after passing Ferreries, turn left for Cala Galdana. In Cala Galdana, pass the bridge and turn left at the roundabout. After passing the hotel Audax, continue uphill and the apartments can be found after about 150 m on the right-hand side.Pets are not accepted. Room cleaning and sheet change occurs once a week, while towel change is twice a week (including check-in day). Due to the number of steps, the residence is not recommended for those with limited mobility. Are requested to endorse the time of arrival to the hotel via email about altagaldana@yahoo.es.

“ The hotel was a short walk up the hill from the beach, and then there were steps to the apartment, which gave us fantastic views. The owner was very accommodating and was happy for us to move apartments for a better view and to keep our room until our transfer time. Good facilities, including kettle and toaster, there were plenty of local supermarkets to buy provisions from.
“ Top Tip: Sa Lluna restaurant, at the entrance to the apartments was excellent. The food was freshly prepared and there was a good vegetarian choice.

“ The Alta Galdana Appartments were perfect for our requirements. The accomodation is basic but clean and as we were near the top of the complex we had a private roof terrace.The views over Cala Galdana from here are excellant and had the sun from dawn to dusk.The steps up to the appartments may be an issue for elderly visitors.
“ Top Tip: The Sa Luna restaurant next to the appartments is excellent

“ This is the third time we have stayed here and as always it was good for us. Marcos the owner is a lovely bloke who always makes you feel welcome. The appartment was clean as always and a big plus is how comfortable the beds are here, you really do get a good nights sleep. The other major plus point of these appartments are the upstairs solariums, they offer spectacular views and are nice for relaxing on with a drink as the sun comes up or goes down, the only thing that could be improved is the bathrooms need refurbishing and the kitchen utensils are not up too much but that didnt bother us really as there was plenty of hot water for showers and we eat out all week and didnt bother with the kitchen. Overall very convenient apartments, you dont need anything else and are in a great position for the stunning Cala Galdana beach
“ Top Tip: Top Tip is to book the boat trip 'Libra Mare' 40/50 Eu a person for a 3 and a half hour trip around the southern coast of Menorca stopping at the amazing hidden beaches and coves, Dani the menorcan skipper is very friendly and joins in the fun, as he says why go to the carribean when you can see this, the beautiful warm clear seas and white sands are like heaven on earth. Best beaches were Trebaluger and Cala en Turqueta with Cala Galdana, there is nowhere to better this in the med we think. Also re restaurants Fuente De Trevi was best overall for quality and price, plus Alaska is good and Sa Tasca is a nice spanish family who do good tapas, snacks and drinks. Also try the fishermans restaurant on the end Es Barranc for a true Menorcan flavour. Places to avoid, Can Bini has gone downhill, way overpriced and mediocre food, Black and White Bar run by very strange Englishman but one last tip on the way home to the airport call in at the village of Saint Climent and have lunch at the Jazz casino, it's brilliant!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Alta Galdana apartments - the owner Marco was friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom villa near the pool with a wonderfull rooftop terrace that my husband and I would sit out on after the kids had gone to bed.
Although the apartments need a bit of updating, they had everything you needed.
The restaurant next door, Sa Lluna did good food for a reasonable price and we ate there a number of times. The owner was very friendly and always gave pictures to the kids to colour.
The apartments were only around 5 minutes from the beach and the shops/restaurants in the centre of the resort. There is also a supermarket opposite and a bigger one 1 minute walk up the road.
I would recommend Alta Galdana as it's in a good location, has a lovely pool and atmosphere and is a lot cheaper than the other 2 bed apartments in the resort.

Primasud Apartments is a low rise two storey complex situated amongst spacious gardens, only 200 metres from the beach and 15km from the Airport. This complex is ideal for families. On site there are two swimming pools, spacious gardens with a children's playground, a bar, snack bar, pool tables (local charge) and a reception. Cots are available upon request. Nearby is the local supermarket, restaurants and bars.
“ The apartment was well presented and very clean, as were the hotel grounds. The hotel pools were also lovely but the water was freezing!! The hotel bar food was nice but very expensive. Nice beach with bars and restaurants nearby but most things were pretty expensive, even in the local supermarkets.

Apartments Floramar are located in Cala Galdana, southern Menorca, 35 Km from Mahon, 31 Km from the airport and 250 m from the beach and the shopping centre. Cala Galdana is one of the prettiest coves on the island where you can enjoy nautical sports such as light sailing, diving, motor boating, etc... Excursions on foot that will take you in 40 minutes to adjacent, still unspoilt, coves Cala Mitjana y Cala Macarella. This Aparthotel, consists of 76 apartments (of 1 or 2 rooms) and 2 studios. All of are equipped with: complete bathroom with hairdryer, sitting room with fully equipped kitchen (kettle, toaster electric, microwaves), air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, phone, terrace or balcony, and piped music.
“ We travelled here for one week AI on the last week of the season, we had a very relaxing time as there were very few people around the hotel and the town, weather was warm every day, although a little cloudy at times.

The Sol Gavilanes is the only hotel in Cala Galdana located right on the beach. Cala Galdana is a fine sandy cove located on the south coast of Menorca in the municipality of Ferreries and is one of the island's most beautiful coves. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and pine trees that reach right down to the beach. The hotel offers exclusive views of the coastline. From its restaurants and terraces, as well as from the rooms on the front of the hotel, you can admire a magnificent view of crystal clear waters and the sand below. Hotel certified with ISO14001 and EMAS for its environmental practices.
“ Excellent hotel. Friendly efficient staff. Very good food with a vast choice. Wonderful view from terrace, restaurant and front sea view bedrooms. View from side sea view bedrooms also good, but, more restricted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful place.

Built in the style of a Moorish fishing village, Binibeca is an impressive award-winning resort. The villas are located in the Binibeca area which is located 17 km from the airport and close to bars, restaurants and a supermarket as well as a small sandy beach. The capitol, Mahon, is only 15 minutes drive away where guests will find an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, bars and a beautiful harbour. Punta Prima offers a large golden sandy beach with natural coves and is only 10 minutes away. Guests will be allocated in a villa within the Binibeca Resort area upon arrival.

Situated in the centre of the resort, built in 1986 and last renovated in 2007, this apartment complex consists of 50 one-bedroom apartments. The complex offers guests a reception with limited opening hours and parking facilities. For a fee, guests can also make use of the establishment's Internet access.
“ Second time here great location in a small resort. We love it as everything in each reach. The pool this time wasn't very clean due to a storm. And the room wasnt as nice this time had a bit of cat wee smell. But it was clean & towels changed and room cleaned three times in one week. Would go back though as location is spot on.
