“ A very good choice for a late booking. The staff were very helpful, and noted my special requests for an upper floor room in a quiet part of the development. The apartment was clean and well-kept, and had a spacious terrace (table / chairs, but no sun lounger on it). The overall space / cutlery etc. were fine for up to two people, bit of a squeeze for 3-4. The kitchen / living area has a good-sized fridge-freezer, and two cooker rings, plus microwave. The bath has a powerful shower attached. Good pool (I was near the larger of the two). Near two coves (down steps) and walkable to two more, inlcuding Cala en Blanes itself. Each cove is different and whilst all are small, they're a lot more interesting than the usual resort beaches. Two are sandy, and the others have great bathing platforms. If you can swim out of your depth, don't miss Cala en Brut, with its turquoise waters and many fish. There's also an impressive rock arch (Pont d'en Gill) just to the north of the resort. Plenty of shops and cash machines nearby, though food was generally expensive.

“ Top Tip: Do visit Ciutadella, the old capital, a short bus ride away (the bus stop is outside the main entrance). If you go further afield and change local buses, it is possible to buy a through ticket. Do explore the four coves in the area. The sunsets over Majorca are impressive!

“ The apartment was lovely, very spacious, the only downside is you have to clean the apartment yourself, but towels and bedding are changed every 2-3 days. The pool is nice and the nearest beach is a 10 minute walk with a nice walk way all the around. Would recommend these apartments.

“ Top Tip: The Daysons cafe is lovely, does a good breakfast and nighttime meals as well. The square just behind this has some great entertainment on at night as well.

“ The apartments were very roomy with everything you need included. The bedrooms were large and, as a family of 5, there was plenty of storage space. The pool near the apartments was a good size but you could also use the pools at the Lentiscos which was just across the road. The pools and entertainment there were excellent. Overall a very good holiday experience.

“ Top Tip: Bianca's restaurant and the Haiti restaurant very nearby were excellent and Louis in Biancas was brilliant!

“ Although we had a lovely time and found the 2 bedroom apartments spacious and satisfactory for the most part, we were very disappointed when a couple of days in, the apartments above us were let out to two groups of 16-17yr old kids with no adult supervision. As you can imagine they were drinking, screaming and causing trouble. Also there were loads of other youngsters doing the same thing in the apartments around the area and this meant that they were gathering in groups and hanging around in the street outside. This did upset us and caused us to have a sleepless night of complaining to the night porter on numerous occasions to get them to shut up and move on. Thankfully the kids were thrown out of the apartment the next morning and we were able to enjoy the rest of our holiday.

Just beware if booking in Cala n Forcat around the 11-15th June as this is when the hoards of youngsters arrive for the weekend - you've been warned!!!

“ Top Tip: The beach is fantastic - very small but perfect for young kids - the sea's very shallow there with lots of fish and crabs!
