Roc Menorca Mar Hotel

“ Lovely big swimming pool, very laid back atmosphere. 20 min or so walk to main Marina & Beach.But lovely walk along coastal road very enjoyable at night time.
Staff were very friendly and alway on hand to assist guests if needed.

“ The Roc Menorcar Mar apartments are very basic but clean. Not alot of room for 2 adults and two children, certainly wouldn't recommend for 4 adults to share ! One wardrobe for all clothes which was a very tight squeeze. Bathroom really clean though which is a major plus point with me. has requested a cot and when we arrived there wasn't one in room but within 5 minutes of asking a member of staff turned up with cot and a load of clean bedding. Can't ask for more than that. Pool brilliant for children, really big with a great shallow walk in bit at either side where you can just sit and play with younger ones and gets a lot deeper in the middle for jumping in and swimming, plenty of sunbeds ! On the negative side was the lack of "kids club" which they do advertise. This was non existent the whole of our holiday and as for the playground, well the few bits that were there are made of wood and are all rotten and falling to bits. If you are looking to go here for children's entertainment then i wouldn't bother but if like ourselves were just looking for a comfortable, cheaply priced base then i would definately recommend these apartments. The few restaurants nearby are all pretty good and staff are all really nice. If you have younger children I would recommend the Goody Goody. You can really spend the whole day here and it only costs for the little ones not like alot of parks where adults are charged aswell. I would say probably for children between 1-8 year old. Swimming pools, bouncy castles,trampolines, soft play area and ko-cart track. Marina lovely with plenty of restaurants.

“ Top Tip: Goody Goody Park and Fiesta Pub which is just about next door has soft play area in the back. I couldn't find any pubs/restaurants with any outside play area.

“ Hotel needs a fresh lick of paint but cleanliness good pool cleaned every day and maintained towels changed every other day hotel staff very helpful and spoke fluent english. Entertainment very poor in fact i would go to say there was none other than one night. Sun set to die for. Would defo book again though, perfect for kids as small pool and larger pool. Only a small walk into cala bosch 20mins or a taxi ride about 7euros so ideal.

“ Top Tip: A taxi ride to cala blanca is a must the restaurants over looking the sea very beautiful

“ The pool was great and never busy. There is a great walk along the coast to the local Harbour where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The sunset was beautiful to watch. The entertainment at the hotel was very basic

“ Top Tip: Local beach, small but nice and only a 15 minute walk.
