Valentin Star Hotel

“ we thought this hotel was lovely. a perfect place to stay, the staff were all really nice and friendly from the housekeeping staff to the managers. the housekeeping staff really worked hard to keep your room and the public areas looking nice, and this was appreciated. the food at the hotel was excellent, it covered all bases with something for everybody and the entertainment was not too much or too little. it was a very relaxing holiday.

“ Top Tip: cala bosch beach is ok but a short walk around the coast to the left of the beach and you will find a better beach for swimming and sunbathing. especially for the young children.

“ Excellent location near to Marina, Shops, Bars and Restaurants and Bus to Cuitadella. Superb pool for lying in the shallows or swimming lengths. The food quality and variety are excellent and the entertainments team are superb, both during the day and at night. Always seemed to be one quality act in the evening.
The most outstanding aspect of this hotel, however, is the superb efficiency and friendliness of the staff, in all areas - waiters/waitresses, cooks, reception, cleaning, entertainment. They all greeted guests in passing, usually with a smile.
A slight upgrade in the rooms might be desirable (flat-screen TVs and DVD players, for example), but I would not want that at the expense of the positive attributes mentioned above. Overall, a stay here is a most enjoyable experience.

“ Top Tip: Be sure to take the glass-bottom boat trip along the south coast from the marina, 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Visits 16 different beaches over 3.5 hours and stops at one of the best for over an hour. On board refreshments are very reasonably priced.
