“ Decent accommodation, could do with a few odd jobs such as loose skirting and leaking shower hose. Though the hose was fixed within the day. Nice little arcade for kids. Kids loved the bird sanctuary. Pools were ace, small pools perfect for kids, large ones nice and deep.
“ Top Tip: Go Jimmy's for evening entertainment. The waitresses there were fantastic and a pleasure. Nice Irish Bar down the main strip. Plus the chicken in the Black Horse was pure gold.

We had a lovely time at the Binimar Apartments, however we were lucky where our apartment was located. For those situated round the pool, bar and entertainment areas I think the noise would be unbearable as there were PA systems going all days with games and entertainment and very late at night.
It was much bigger than we thought it would be but with 3 big pools all the people seemed to be diluted through the space. The childrens pool was 'too splashy' for our 3 year old, there were lots of jets and sprays everywhere which the older children loved but for her it was a bit too full on. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good, if you timed it wrong you would queue for 10 minutes to be seated in the restaurant! The all inclusive was fine but sadly no ice creams included which is a must for children on holiday. The resort was very clean and felt safe, the apartment was cleaned 3 times during the week and was perfectly pleasant and comfortable. The noise from other complexes in the town was noisy at night but if you fancy a bit of karaoke and bingo this is the place for you!

Top Tip:
There is a very small but nice beach a couple of minutes walk from the hotel but there is a better beach at Cala n Blanes, Pirates Cove with a nice restaurant, beach bar and play area.
The buses are worth using as children 3 and under are free and they were air conditioned and very clean.
We went to the aqua park in the town - walking distance from Binimar and it was great, we had a really good day there. You can buy cheaper tickets if you want to revisit once or twice more, we were only there for a week so just went once. Next to the aqua park - it doesn't look like a water park from the front as it is tucked behind buildings etc so look for it near the arch with the dolphins on, there is a bar, can't remember the name but they have lots of entertainment there and on Monday nights they have a parrot show which is great.

“ Hotel was clean and tidy. If you did not get up at 7am to get a sunbed you did not get one all day. There are too many apartments and too many people for the hotels facilities. If it was a smaller complex it would be fine. You also had to queue at meal times if you were not early, same problem the canteen could only cater 250 people.

“ Top Tip: bus stop up the road where you can venture away for the day, plenty of shops and pubs close by, but watch your change when you order

“ This is the second year running i have been to Binimar with our 2 children aged 6 and 5. Brilliant for kids, with 3 pools, one of which now has an activity area, which has slides and water cannons and a large bucket which fills up with water then empties over one side of the pool! Lost of entertainment around the pool through the day for kids and up to 9pm on the evening, although we spent most of the time in the resort centre on a night. Most of the bars in the resort centre have enclosed play areas, which have bouncy castles and trampolines. The restaurant staff in the hotel were lovely and very friendly as too were the Reception staff. The hotel rooms are a little dated and could do with a refurb, but as we spent little time in the room it didn't bother us. There is no air con and rooms are very hot on a night, but you can hire fans from Reception. The first year we went we were given a room near the main entertainment stage, which although the entertainment finishes around 1130pm was very loud and at times felt like the DJ was sat on the end of the bed!! We asked to move to the far end of the complex the day after and Reception sorted it straight away. This year when we initially booked online we put a request in to be located away from the main stage, which we were. There is a Water Park in the resort centre. It works out much cheaper to get a 2, 3 or 5 day ticket. It cost us 100 euros for 2 adults and 2 kids for 3 days. There is also a couple of restaurants here and a picnic area if you want to take your own food. As a resort l would recommend to anyone with children as i have never found anywhere else that caters for them and has as much to keep them entertained. Binimar is one of if not the largest hotel complex in the resort and i would definitely recommend it.

Beach Club Apartments are located in Son Parc town centre, in an area with sea views and surrounded by the beautiful beaches of Son Saura on one side and La Olla on the other. The complex has a swimming pool for children and adults, snack bar and pub, tennis Court and gardens. Nearby there is a Golf Course, supermarket and shops. There are also parking facilities. There are 196 fully equipped apartments with one separate bedroom complete bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room with sofa bed and terrace, most of them with sea view.

“ The staff were very helpfull and the apartments and surrounds were kept very clean.We stayed as self catering and all the necesary equitment was available at no extra cost unlike some self catering apartments in the area.Towels and cleaning of the Apts 5 days a week. We enjoyed the two weeks holiday and would use the Mirinda Gardens again.

“ excellent appartments, higher quality furnishings than usual and spacious. very close to the marina but in a quieter location than harbour side. staff very helpfull. Menorca is lovely but you will need to hire a car if you want to see the island without restriction on where you can get to by bus.

“ A wonderful hotel! Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel very well kept and clean, but best of all the food is excellent, good variety to suit all tastes. The room was spacious and well located opposite the pool the only problem encountered was there was no wall handrail in the bath/shower which was difficult and unsafe for the elderly relative I was travelling with.
