I had read all previous reviews about this hotel and decided it was just what my husband and myself would like - and we were definitely not disappointed. We had the most lovely, quiet, restful week. The staff were few but very pleasant and helpful and we had a wonderful view from the top floor towards Mahon Harbour.
All in all it was just what we were expecting and we would certainly hopefully return again to Menorca and stay at this hotel.
We are in our early sixties, young at heart, and don't think it would suit young people looking for a noisier time, and a beach, but hope it stays as it is.

Top Tip:
Cala Fonts was lovely, a good walk down and the most lovely views.
The bar in the corner under the trees called I think Se Casa run by a very friendly young couple was very good, and a resaurant called Espana next door to the Spar in Es Castell was wonderful food at reasonable prices.

“ We had a very good stay at the Agamenon, the staff were very curtious and freindly, the room was always kept clean and tidy, the pool area was excellent, the only slight critism would be that there was not always enough staff on. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.
“ Top Tip: Nou Sirocu restaurant was excellent on the water front in Cales Fonts. Carlos and his water taxi is a must when travelling from Cales Fonts to Mahon.

The RTM Capri is located right in the heart of Mahon, just minutes walk from the many bars, shops and restaurants and in a perfect spot for exploring the culture and history of the island. The hotel features 75 rooms all with balconies, elegantly decorated and equipped with air conditioning, minibar, television and safe (at a charge). The hotel has a fitness area on the terrace, with spectacular views across the city and the port. Facilities include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, steam bath, gym and multi-jet showers.
“ We were disappointed that the swimming pool was being refurbished and we did not know this until on arrival so there was no outside space to relax. Overall the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel Port Mahon is ideally located in the most stylish residential area of Mahon with beautiful views of the harbour. This colonial style hotel has 73 air conditioned bedrooms all well decorated and equipped with modern amenities including television, telephone and minibar. The hotel also has a restaurant, a piano bar, café, outdoor swimming pool and splendid sun terrace on-site.
“ We stayed for one night on 21st October 2011 at the end of a two week holiday. We had come straight from a villa and were returning the next day. We found everything neat, clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet being end of season, but still all services were running.

The Barcelo Hamilton is situated in a beautiful and peaceful area in the port of Mahon, capital city of the island of Menorca. This is the ideal hotel for business trips to Menorca as well as for anyone on vacation t this enchanting island where visitors can discover its magnificent landscape. The hotel includes many features and facilities, including a buffet/a la carte restaurant. The hotel is only 800 m from Cala Padera beach, 3 km from the city centre of Mahon and 7 km from the Menorca airport.
“ had a good holiday, found this hotel suitable for us (65plus) as we were looking for a quiet break, food excellent something for everyone, rooms a little too modern but well looked after, lacking a fridge for your water if nothing else, air conditioning not working but this has been a problem since the upgrade of some rooms, they hope to get this fixed when they complete the upgrade.

This club style hotel is ideal for families and those looking for an active break. The hotel offers an excellent range of facilities and is located 400 metres from the beach. Clients have use of facilities at sister properties and the sports complex next door (charges may apply). All rooms have air conditioning, telephone, terrace/balcony and television.
