Having been partially refurbed we were lucky to be allocated one of these rooms and was pleasantly surprised in the quality & standard that has gone into making the rooms modern & comfy without lots of frills.
At this time of year was firmly present with long stay guests however the welcome at reception & dining area was good as to say this is a 3 Star I believe with a few more changes could be a 4 star.
Anybody looking for a nice hotel with views and an area called Es Castell offering an abudance of local shops, bars & facilities will be happy.

had a good holiday, found this hotel suitable for us (65plus) as we were looking for a quiet break, food excellent something for everyone, rooms a little too modern but well looked after, lacking a fridge for your water if nothing else, air conditioning not working but this has been a problem since the upgrade of some rooms, they hope to get this fixed when they complete the upgrade.
Would reccomend this hotel to our friends.

Room was fantastic, cleaned and tidied every day to a very high standard , in fact the whole hotel was immaculate. Staff were freindly and helpfull at all times,
food was excellent with lots of choice and lots of it.
location could not have been better and veiws over the water breathtaking,

Top Tip:
Restaurants around the Bay highly entertaining sitting and people watching !
Carlos with his water taxi a must for trips into Mahon also worth asking him for his trips around the coast.
Top place to eat nou sizoco.

“ Worth getting a sea veiw. We always managed to get a sunbed, but not enough for the size of the hotel. Reception could of had an information board, for things to see or do in the area.
“
Top Tip:
Seafood lovers who want authentic spanish food, with a beautiful setting should BOOK a table [before they go on holiday as really busy] at Can Bernat des Grau, about a mile out of Mahon.
Sport lovers should make sure they visit The Teapot Bar just above Calas Fonts, in Es Castel.
