Beach Club Hotel

“ We had a lovely time here and plan on going back next year for two weeks. the accomodation is near to the beach but the area is quite hilly. as a consequence short walks can be hard work but that apart the place is lovely and friendly.

“ Top Tip: there are four or five resturants within a 15 minute walk we tried most and found them very good.

“ This hotel was so incredibly reasonable that I thought I was either going to be faced with an absolute nightmare or a hidden gem. I'm pleased to report that it was the latter!
When I initially booked I asked if it were possible to get an apartment with a sea view but didn't expect to actually receive it but as we arrived and opened our curtains we were met with the most gorgeous view of the bay below. Absolutely beautiful. These apartments were right on the beach, so it's about a 2 min walk and your toes are in the sand. The beach itself is very wide and long so there is plenty of space and isn't crowded at all. It's also immaculately clean with white sands and clear, flat turquoise waters.
The apartment doesn't have the most up-to-date furniture and some, frankly, questionable blue paint on some of the walls, but it's clean (rooms cleaned and towels replaced daily) and very spacious. There is no aircon but there is a fan in the bedroom which was absolutely adequate for those hot nights.
The complimentary breakfast buffet offered is totally fantastic so if you're doubting whether to go for breakfast or not... go for it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Generally a very good experience all round!

I suspect if you're going on a beach holiday you're probably not going to spend your day holed up in your apartment critiquing the pine furniture or the 70's curtains however. So, these apartments are absolutely perfect for a beach holiday where proximity to the beach is important and a great breakfast needed!
On that note, this hotel comes highly recommended!

“ Top Tip: The beach restaurant does great food and some pretty potent Sangria. If you are looking for a slightly more expensive meal I would highly recommend taking a cab to neighboring town Fornells. Not only is it very pretty and very chilled out, the seafood is apparently some of the best in the region. So good that King Juan Carlos sails in frequently for dinner... Best lobster I've ever had!
Also, there is a hidden beach next to main beach. Short hike over the rocks (better to go in the morning pre-midday sun!) and you're there. It's like being on "The Beach".

Rooms as you would expect , simple but with all the basics
Buffet food is excellent with a chef cooking fresh pasta, fish etc every day

“ Top Tip: Ask for a sea view
Ask for extra fans at reception if needed (free of charge)
Play water polo with the German and Italian guests, great fun

“ The Beach Club Hotel was very clean, comfortable and child friendly, having everything needed for a very relaxing stay.
There was a fantastic choice of fresh dishes on offer, varying daily.
The staff were very friendly, making the whole family feel welcome.
The hotel is perfect for families as it has a great pool area and access to a superb beach.

“ Top Tip: The local park was a real find with exciting equipment for the children to explore.
