Sol Menorca Hotel

“ Lovely hotel with superb views. Rooms were a good size and spotless. Only downside which cannot probably be helped in this size of hotel was the noise levels in the dining room. Food was better than average for this type of dining experience. Entertainment was good and pool area well designed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Suit those looking for a quite resort might not be enough to keep teenagers amused for a week.

“ Top Tip: Lovely walks particularly the walk to Son Bou which is a slightly bigger resort with a water park.

“ Top Tip: the whole area was very quiet and relaxing all the local bars were very good and gave a very welcoming atmosphere .The local beach was popular with families and we recommend hiring a car and seeing more of the island there were some great places to see amazing coves with spectacular views.

“ This was a return visit for my wife & I to the Sol Menorca Hotel and yet again we were not disappointed. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was very pleasing. The hotel was very professionally managed and everything that we asked was made available with the minimum of fuss.
The food was excellent, with a wide variety of menus to choose from both at breakfast and in the evening. There was entertainment too, all enjoyed by the guests staying. The cleanliness of the hotel also matched its four star status.

“ Top Tip: There is a pleasant "promanade" walkway at the end of the hotel which takes you to two restauants at either side of the sandy beaches. All reached within a few minutes walk.
There are a number of small bars and cafes as well as a supermarket for any basic needsall within walking distance from the hotel

“ Undoubtedly this hotel is spotlessly clean, the cleaners never seem to stop working!
We were extremely disappointed with the hotel as is really was like a retirement home. At breakfast we wanted to sit on the outside terrace even just to have our coffee but we were told this wasn't allowed and all doors and windows were closed/locked to keep us in,meaning it was very warm and stuffy too. The food was disappointing too, not hot enough and very bland also drinks that you had to purchase during dinner were expensive. As soon as you sat down to dinner a waiter would ask if you wanted a drink if you replied no you're glass was snatched away to prevent you bringing in your own. The only cheerful member of staff was our cleaner, the rest were miserable as were the majority of other guests. The resort is small and quite pretty though it is very very quiet, I feel too quiet. The bar Halleys which was in the resort centre we visited every day, the manager there was miserable, customers barely got a hello out of him and never tried to speak. There really was no holiday atmosphere at all during the whole stay thank goodness we only booked for one week!!
