We went in the first week of October. Club Royal is very family orientated. Our party was of 4 adults 2 in late-20s, 2 in early-50s. Lots of kids running around but surprisingly it didn't bother me & you don't have to go far to escape it if needs be! The hotel is itself is spotless, cleaners worked tirelessly, as did the gardeners & maintenance guys. The reception staff were always helpful, the restaurant staff were brilliant (Jon, Cristina & Paqui especially). They brought us bandages when they spotted one of us with an injured ankle without us even asking - very caring people then everyday after, they enquired how it was everyday & offered help. The manager of the hotel also sent a bottle of bubbly to my mum for her birthday as that is why we were there. I could see the staff built good relations with all tourists & were great with kids. Plenty choice of food everyday & also very varied to suit one of our fussy eaters! I would definitely go back & also recommend it!!
“ Top Tip: Beach is only a 5 minute walk away so great for sunsets / sunrises. Go on the excursion by a gent called Raphael - we went on a Weds trip for 25euros plus 12.50 for a fab 3-course lunch plus wine & soft drink. His shop / advert boards are on the main street - we actually met him at the bus stop in Son Bou & he did our tour, very entertaining & good to see Menorca from a local person's viewpoint as opposed to bored Tour Operator guides reading from a sheet who charge over twice as much!

“ It was our first trip abroad with our young son and it was brilliant. The hotel staff were the main reason we had such a good time as the service at the hotel is outstanding. The entertainment staff acknowledge everyone and the kids love them, the bar staff are all friendly and the staff in the restaurants are brilliant, they have booster seats at the ready before you have even asked for one. The holiday was relaxed because nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone. The only minor issue I found was that the large pool was too cold. We would definately recommend the hotel and would certainly return in the future.

We found The Club Royal Son Bou to be a very good hotel. The rooms were a good size, the employees where very helpful, and the food was great. We would definately go back but once they have added some more english channels to the tv (currently sky news or eurosport otherwise anything you could think of in German). However this was our only gripe, otherwise a lovely hotel, good entertainment and close to the beach and just enough shops. Kids loved Kiko land.

“ Spotlessly clean, staff couldn't do enough for you and Kikoland the children's entertainment was outstanding - as well an excellent place to play in a safe environment, the team organised great activities e.g. pony rides free of charge. The only thing was that the evening entertainment wasn't in english but it didn't seem to matter too much, our daughter still danced along to it all.

Renovated in 2005, the hotel consists of 3 floors and 126 rooms. The hotel also enjoys a spacious garden. The facilities include a lobby, a 24-hour reception, a safe, a bar, a lift, an Internet terminal, a playground, a games room and a TV room. The inviting restaurant provided is air-conditioned.
“ My Wife & I have just returned from a 7 nights stay at the Azul. For a 3 star hotel it was hard to find fault. For a relaxing break we would highly recommend. However if you want the bright lights & night clubs this may not be the Hotel/Resort for you.

With an extensive range of on site activities and a day and evening entertainment programme, the welcoming Aguamarina is an ideal choice for families looking for a lively holiday base. It is conveniently located 100 metres from the resort's sandy beach and 400 metres from a group of bars, restaurants and shops. All the rooms feature complete bathroom, television, telephone and balcony and the hotel has a bar, restaurant, two swimming pools, sports track, gymnasium and tennis court.

The complex lies in a 250-me garden area and offers a 3-storey building with a total of 60 apartments. A bar, a restaurant, a car park and a children's playground all feature within the hotel and there is a laundry service available on request.
“ Went as a family of five; two adults and three children (14, 12 & 10). The apartment was very clean and plenty of space, yes the bathroom is small but more than adequate for our needs. We were half board and the meals are served in the nearby Isla Parisio buffet restaurant.

Located in Ciudadella de Menorca, Viva Menorca Aparthotel is a family-friendly condo property on an island and close to Macarelleta Beach. “ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOTEL FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. Almost all foreign customers without problems, very quietly and without scandal. The animation very well but all in English. Spanish children are not aware of many things.

The Grupotel Mar de Menorca is located 200 metres from the Cala Canutells beach and just 13 km from the city of Mahon. The terraced rooms are well equipped and have excellent views. It is a low rise building, surrounded by extensive gardens and the facilities make it a particularly good holiday choice for families. Guests can enjoy sumptuous breakfast or dine at the in house restaurant and bar serving a wide range of delicacies. Recreation facilities include a tennis court, billiards table, swimming pool, golf and gymnasium.
“ I thought the food was good, although not much variety on the desserts front. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool is huge so great for the kids, and it's shallow too. Entertainment was good, aimed more at the kids though. Overall a good family holiday and would definitely return.
