“ We thought our stay at Son Bou Garden Apartments was excellent,apartments had all you needed to cook a meal if you wanted to.We were in zone 3 so not to far from the beach or shops,we wouldnt want to stay in other zones.Unfortunatley our holiday was at the end of the season so only a few shops and restaurants open and they had little choice on the menu at the restaurant on our complex,however overall cant fault it.Hope to return.

Apartment basic but comfortable, could do with having an electric kettle.
Cleaners came twice while we were there. Superb place for kids, plenty of grass
to play on, good pool area and very clean.
All staff we came into contact with very helpful and friendly.

“ This was our 2nd visit to Son Bou and we were disappointed to find we were placed in Zone 5 - last year we were in Zone 3 - as this was late in the season the pool and resturant were closed and the end of our 1st week the Club San Jaime entertainment closed and as the weather was surprisingly hot, it was quite a long walk to the other pool, shops, restaurants and the beach during the day and then again in the evenings. The accomodation was very clean and the staff were friendly and the surrounding gardens and area were very clean and tidy and it is definatly the quiet end of the resort - accept when you had a resident owl sat outside our apartment 'hooting' every night!!! We will definatly go back to Son Bou as we had a great time and the beach is fantastic but is expensive if you need a sun bed and umbrella every day, it is cheaper to buy an umbrella and just lay on your towel or a lilo.
“ Top Tip: Best restaurant without a doubt is Casa Andres - food is superb and very good service a close second is Boni with lovely evening views over the sea, a long walk along the beach to San Thomas took 1hr 4omins, good evenings entertainment is a quiz night twice a week at the Kit Kat English bar, good fun with brilliant staff, Clive and Lucy are great, and for a good english breakfast or lunch and value for money is Joseph's.

Good value for money accommodation set in well maintained gardens. Good 'on-site' amenities including supermarket & 3 pools with bars/meals service. Shops & restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Slightly longer walk to the beach ( because of conservation area) but well worth it. Excellent clean beach with soft sand, clear water,gentle slope into water - ideal for all family members! Also good to see Life Guards on patrol. Beach bars & watersports available.
Little pre-warning of closure of Zone 5 pool & restaurant (excellent pizzas!) at end-September but other pools/bars still available. Good free daily late evening entertainment (mainly tribute acts) on site but that also finished at the end-September.
“ Top Tip: Well worth a local bus trip into Mahon ( 2.65 Euros single - takes about 25 mins) for the day,and the 1 hour boat trip around Mahon harbour .
