This attractive and comfortable complex in Son Bou has all the facilities required for a great holiday for families and couple alike. Hotel Valentin Son Bou offers rooms located on four floors, all of which have light decoration, functional furnishings and sliding glass doors to balconies. Valentin Son Bou is 1.5km from the beach and this can be reached by the hotel’s mini bus service. It is 7 kilometres from Alaior and 20 kilometres from Mahon airport. Son Bou has the largest and some say best beach on the island of Menorca and consists of mostly modern accommodation and a number of large, private villas.

The location isn't perfect as you need to rely on the courtesy bus to get up the hill from the beach and this can be oversubscribed! It also only runs until 7pm so it's not easy to venture out in the evening.
The food could sometimes be warmer but overall it was of a good standard with quite a good choice.
The best evening entertainment was provided by a group called The Temptations - really good.
Everywhere was very clean and all staff are very friendly.
Overall we had a good break at the hotel.

“ We have now been to this hotel 19 times and always have a wonderful time as the same people are there year after year. The hotel is looking a little tired and needs updating in certain areas, but unfortunately we have been told there is no money to spend at the moment, but it would stop us from going there. Food is always good and staff are very friendly.
“ Top Tip: Hotel is on a hill, so you have to walk down to get to the town there is a courtesy bus every half hour, in evening there is a couple of nice bars and one that has entertainment which is good.

“ The main problem with this hotel is that it is extremely noisy. After 5 nights of having little or no sleep I had had enough. The manager wasn't interested in helping me straight away, but eventually I got moved to an apartment. This was slightly better but not much. This obviously had a lot to do with unthoughtful neighbours but the Walls were definitely made of paper. The apartments were dirty and my room was only cleaned every other day instead of every day. Finally the lack of sunloungers was frustrating. People still reserve them when there are signs not to. The hotel staff should take those towels off and throw them in the pool!!!
“ Top Tip: Not much close to hotel. Beach very nice but not close to hotel. Free bus to town but this stopped at 7pm.

We enjoyed the food, it was excellent and the staff are calm and interested in providing a good service.
The hotel is spacious, well designed and it was interesting to see the people who stayed there were family orientated, quite a few with young children, yet all the kids were well behaved.
The Valentin Son Bou is a brilliant place to enjoy the sun, drinks and food, with great facilities. We will go again next time with our grand kids - we are only in our late 40's so we are still in touch with having fun whilst we are still fit!
“ Top Tip: the hotel has a half hour bus service, great for getting back to the 'all inclusive bar'!

Grupotel Tamariscos Apartments is directly in front of Cala`n Bosch beach and offers 2 swimming pools as well as a children pool, mini golf, evening entertainment and table tennis. All apartments have a terrace or balcony and include satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safe and a small kitchen.
“ The hotel was really nice in a good location with lovely views, nice and quiet. The beach adjacent was lovely with clear turquoise water, but busy. The interior of our apartment was of a really generous size, with a great terrace overlooking the lighthouse on the headland and the pool and the rocks.

“ The hotel is in administration which meant that both the downstairs restaurant and the shop were shut. We had access to a car but this would be a significant issue for those who didn't . The location is excellent and the staff are great ( we have been for a number of years and they treat as like old friends) .

The aparthotel HG Jardin de Menorca is situated in Son Bou, one of the finest beaches in Menorca, surrounded by gardens in an area protected for its ecological value and nature reserve.
