“ Arrived late afternoon, reception was quick and efficient, a painless check-in. Room was well situated and spacious. I was travelling by motor cycle and there was secure parking directly outside the reception area. This Hotel also has a camping Area adjacent to the Hotel. I would certainly visit again in the future. A big + from me.
“ Top Tip: Just there overnight, but would certainly revisit Salamanca town, heard great reports from other visitors.

“ This hotel is very nice. The rooms are large and the bathrooms newly renovated, the only problem I had with the rooms were the lack of coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly but could only converse the utmost basics in english so a little difficult when you have a question. One thing we found rather strange was the aircon did not work and when we asked reception they phoned someone and it began to work. It seemed they switched off the aircon on our floor as it was not very busy, a little annoying as in the evenings it got quite hot. The hotel does not have a view of any sort. We had a view overlooking the car park and campsite which was not very attractive. The swimmning pools were totally drained which we found unusual as it was mid May and starting to get hot in the day. The hotel is exactly a 10 minute drive to Salamanca and the reception does have a map and they do show you where you can park in Salamanca. Salamanca is a beautiful town steeped in history and beautiful sights, well worth a visit.

“ A very upmarket Hotel in a rather down market area. Nowhere to walk, shop or eat outside of the Hotel which is extortionately expensive in the restaurant. Being the only ones in at the time it was very overpowering to have two waiters hovering whilst we ate.
“ Top Tip: Very uninviting area all together,adjacent to Caravan site.

“ As usual, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regio, they even have new flat screen TV's (although the one English language channel was faulty!). We recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or near Salamanca.

“ Excellent facilities . Rooms are large and very clean with good bathrooms. The swimming pool is the best ever. Breakfasts are good at weekend but deteriorate during the week.
“ Top Tip: The special tip is that this hotel is located outside of Salamanca but for just a few euros you can catch a bus there and back which picks up inside the hotel car park.

In addition, there is a cafe, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants.
