“ Rooms were spacious and clean but twin bedded.Service was a little serious but we have grown accustomed to that. Breakfast was continental with very little hot choice but there are plenty of cafes and bars to eat out close by.

“ Ideal Hotel in Tarragona . The Hotel is perfectly situated at the end of the main drag, the Rambla Nova and is next door to the bus station which was ideal for our next stop, Barcelona . Free Wifi in the rooms as well as the public area coffee shop was useful.

“ For a budget hotel this one could not be faulted. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the hotel itself is small and friendly and the staff very polite, although there is sometimes a language barrier if you do not speak Spanish.

Built in 2004 and situated on a busy street, this fully air-conditioned complex comprises a total of 30 apartments spread over 6 floors. Guests may make use of the foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, hire safes, lifts and a cloakroom. Fully renovated in 2005, this family-run hotel offers 44 pleasant rooms which guarantee both business travellers and families a relaxing stay. An extensive breakfast buffet, a restaurant with daily specials as well as areas such as a mini library and a play area for children are characteristics of this city-hotel. In addition room and laundry services and medical care are on offer. Furthermore, the hotel has a number of agreements with third-party providers enabling guests to use a heated pool, a sauna and even a gym located just a few metres from the hotel.
“ Pleasant, comfortable, central. Good value for money. I had only one meal, which was very poor, in sharp contrast to the general standard of Tarragona restaurants, most of the best of which are fifteen minutes' walk. An excellent bet for room only, though.

“ Friendly and helpful reception staff. Easy to find when entering the city by car. Parking availble outside hotel for drop off/check-in only. Car parking 11 euro per day but had read in other reviews that parking spaces were tight.
