“ Not 4 star. Rooms not as described, no iron, very basic. Food plenty of choice but all cold and lots of flies, sometimes didnt know what you were eating. Spanish hotel used by the Spanish and did not welcome us Brits as they served their own first and left us waiting. In the middle of no-where only hotel and no shops. Hotel spotlessly clean, no fight for a sunbed, lovely view and very quiet. No good for families or younger people, hotel used by Spanish oaps as government pays for them to have a holiday.

2nd visit and and as expected - Hotel for Spanish families so children friendly but not too noisey and very good after 11pm.
Food as before - plenitful and a fish lovers heaven.
Will happily go back

“ This is a superb hotel for those looking for a taste of real Spain, around a 20-minute walk to the small fishing town Amettla. The food and service was excellent, however, if you are looking for fellow Brits, this is not the place to go - we were the only English in the hotel (mainly Spanish and French). We had an excellent holiday and this hotel is highly recommended.

I can only comment on the time of the month of May were we stayed for a week
and to be honest I found the hotel extremely good - I had a 5th floor room with wonderful sea views and the hotel was intially very quite only getting busy at the weekend with local families coming for a weekend break.
The food was good and plentiful and caters for most tastes (put on loads of weight so couldnt have been bad) - the staff were very friendly and patient with non language speaking english and helped all they could.
My only request to make MY stay perfect would have been for a few English channels on TV as not being party animals and early to bed early to rise types it would have been great to have something English to watch (especially when the weather was bad for 36 hours (although unheard of for that time of year)).
I fully intend to go back to this hotel in the near future.
