the hotel is near the beach you just have walk across a small road
food is excelent hotel very clean rooms spacious
we went all inclusive and never had a problem being served and we didnt need go to a certain part of the bar
cant wait to return for a third time

Looked on reviews before we went and people were complaining about the railway line at the rear of the hotel. Yes it's close but to be honest it didn't cause us any problems even though we were at the back, the trains didn't run at night and were gone in about 5-10 seconds.
We also found that the entertainment was more geared to older people and more for the Spanish guests.

“ hotel is excellent our 3rd time here , food is top quality but if you a plain old english food person then its not the hotel for you .. it has some english and breakfast has everything from english sausages, scammbled egg fresh made omlettes and crepe,s and even champagne and fresh orange , you can not go hungry , hotel rooms vary . pool view rooms are the older rooms the back of the hotel rooms are refurbished with new bathrooms laminated floor and flat sceen tv so its swings and rounderbouts which room you prefer , i ve stayed in both .. pool area is fine plenty of beds ans sun brollys. and seperate toddler pool. and turkish bath pool. entertainment is ok but day time entertainment not much going on . pool bar prices are ok .. and all inclusive is san mig and naned spirits . the train line runs at the back of hotel but it never bothered us you dont here it after a while. overall good value hotel in great position. brilliant and helpfull staff
“ Top Tip: little chill out bar called popeyes on the beach opposite hotel and the beach bar on the beach was a nice place to sit and chill staff were great.

We booked this hotel knowing the local area and knowing what was available away from the hotel. This was the first time we had stayed in this particular hotel and having arrived late in the day we were allotted a room which semed to have been recently refurbished and was clean and spacious. However, it was directly above the kitchen and there was a 'fan' or 'extractor' type noise which ran continuously and prevented me from sleeping as I am particularly sensitive to background noise. The next moring we went to reception who were very helpful and changed the room for us, although they were not able to do so until the following day as the hotel was very full. Our new room was older but perfectly adequate for our needs.
We were on a full board basis and I believe the range and quality of the food available is suitable and adequate for all tastes, - they actually bake their own baguettes in ovens in the dining room and you can't get fresher than that!
My only grumble was the timing of the evening meal. It is not available until 7pm and I prefer to eat my evening meal a good hour earlier than this. Many Spanish hotels have their evening meal at this time, so this comment is not unique to this hotel.
My only complaint was with the towels. which were obviously old and very hard. They were changed regularly but were always the same so I suggest they do something about this in future.

This attractive hotel was built in 2003 and consists of 163 rooms spread over 5 floors. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, a TV room, a games room and a conference room with Internet access as well as a WLAN access point. In addition, there is also a cosy cafe, a bar and an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Further services include a laundry service and medical assistance as well as a kids club. Outside, the hotel has a playground as well as parking facilities and a garage with an extra charge.

Villamarina Club is a quality service hotel, located just 10 minutes from Universal Parks and Resorts, PortAventura and Caribe Aquatic Park, and 1 hour from Barcelona. The hotel is the ideal resort for those who want to relax, to have fun, to enjoy, to laugh. This very busy Family orientated hotel is a great value for money and a great place to escape to the sun. The Pins Platja Apartments are situated in Cambrils, about 3 km from Salou. The apartments are divided in two buildings located on the beach. The complex offers guests fully equipped apartments and many features such as a swimming pool for adults and children, a bar and a restaurant. The Pins Platja Apartments are located 15 km from Reus Airport and 90 km from Barcelona International Airport.
“ We were very pleased when we arrived excellent location, beach to one side and pool to the other. Great view of the sea. Supermarket directly acorss the road and 2 friendly bar/restaurants beneath. Salou and Cambrills just a short bus ride away. Buses are very easy and regular. Apartment is basic but it has everything you need to self cater - excellent value for money.

The hotel was built in 1973, renovated in 1990 and consists of a total of 211 rooms on 2 floors.
