Exceptional

We have stayed in these apartments and in the Cap Salou area many times and like before we have enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and spacious big enough for a family of five. The pool was clean and inviting and for the time of year we went empty which meant that it was a pleasure to use for both the adults and the children we would certainly stay in these apartments again.

Top Tip: For a good place to eat which is friendly and cheap go to Treasure Island which is situated next to the Siesta Dorada apartments, the food is to an exceptional quality. For a day of shopping go to the market in Cambrills which is on a Wednesday the bus even drops you off at the market so you can not miss it.

Siesta Dorada is really rather bad news.

Firstly, expect to be frisked for no less than 100 Euros on your arrival. This is a deposit to cover the rustly iron and smelly cutlery that will greet you when you get in the apartment with an almighty thud of the front door.

The apartment was bobbins. It is not possible, with all the will in the world, to have a block of apartments facing more north. Proper magnetic.

There were (at least) two 'neighbours' with serious addictions to ((deep)fried) eggs and cigarettes as the hallways were heavy with both these odours.

Everything about the apartments leaves a foul taste.

On the last day we cleaned the apartment way beyond how we found it in case humans were going to occupy it after us only to find that reception was closed, as it was virtually all the time. We had to call a number who told us to walk 3km to come and drop the keys at another hotel and collect our deposit. We declined.

We may have also been sexually assaulted, after going out and getting ourselves into a true drunken stupour. It is our strongly held belief that this wouldn't have happened if our apartment wasn't so cruji coques. We drank for comfort.

Top Tip: Cafe del Far.

Very Poor

Check-in date:

Very disappointing! We couldn't check in until 5pm even though our contract stated 2pm, not great when you arrive with small children at 11am in the morning. The floor in the apartment was filthy, there was hardly any cutlery in the room, only 2 spoons! The TV didnt work and we were given a load of speel about the apartments being changed from analogue to digital, the whole apartment was just shabby, couldnt open the wardrobe doors as no knobs on! The noise until 5 am every morning from people partying was unacceptable we had a 4 and 5 year old in our family and they were woken up every night and throughout the night! Dont stay here its rough and dirty! you will totally regret it what a waste of money!!!!

Top Tip: My top tip is to avoid this place at all cost!
