Very helpful Reception staff, as for some reason our party of 4 had been allocated 2 rooms on separate floors, (?wondering why booking agent thought these were separate twin bookings??) however, staff changed one room so that we were all together.
Room cleaned every day and food plentiful. Activities on-going throughtout the day if you want to participate.
Hotel situated in one of the 'nicer' areas of 'Salou although there is a nightclub over the road which can be a bit noisy.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Top Tip:
Avoid the Old Brown Cow, unless you like smutty comments and remarks.
The Grapevine good if you enjoy football, English TV etc.
Tarragona and Cambrils well worth a visit - Barcelona a must if you want a day trip out.

“ Food great. Staff friendly. Centrally located, near to all toruist attractions and shopping. No noise disturbance in corridors at night. Beds most comfortable and great size. Only disappointment being the gym, poor and minimal equipment, not gym standards, however, not many people prioritise a gym

“ Hotel was lovely and good value. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the chefs. The only downside was it was very Spanish orientated and all the evening entertainment consisted of Spanish music and dancing which even had spaniards come from outside the hotel for the entertainment.
“ Top Tip: Portaventura is a must!!

Hotel was spotlessly clean with rooms cleaned every day.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Could not fault the food-there was something for everyone with a lovely Gala Dinner on Friday night.
Really good value for money. Will definitely return.
5 mins walk to beach,shops & bars.

Few good bars nearby-The Old Brown Cow, Buddies & The Grapevine.
The musical fountains in the port area were lovely-well worth a look.
Cambrils is the resort next door-jump on the local bus-lovely place to visit.

“ As usual the belvedere was right for us, most staff were the same as before and very friendly.Bedrooms clean and serviced daily,Food was great if you couldn't find anything to suit you must be very picky. Only downside was the evening entertainment which was mostly in Spanish and much to loud, if the piano player had been there you could not have heard him.Parking was good and buses were very frequent.

This hotel comprises a total of 145 apartments spread over 5 floors. Facilities on offer include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a currency exchange desk and a safe. “ I stayed at this hotel 13th-23rd September 2011 with my husband and our three young children (aged 23 months, 4 years, and almost 6). The hotel itself, we found, was clean and very well presented. The front lobby area was comfortable and inviting.

The beach hotel was renovated in 2004 and comprises 267 double rooms spread over 7 floors. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, Internet access and a TV room. There is also a coffee bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Outside, the hotel owns a playground with a kids' club, as well as garage (optional) facilities.
“ Have to say that I was really surprised at this hotel. Hadn't expected much as it was a 3 star. I went with my 8 year old son. We went half board for 5 nights and were pleasently surprised. Hotel is a bit dated alright but it is clean with the room cleaned each morning and towels changed either every day or 2nd day.

The Hotel Calypso, located in Salou, is just 10 minutes from the beach, 3km from the Port Aventura theme park, and 12km from the Reus Airport. There are 532 double rooms, all with full bathrooms, balconies, air conditioning and telephones. The restaurant is buffet-style and in the summer you can enjoy the open air restaurant. The Hotel Calypso has two swimming pools, hydro-massage and many other facilities and services to help you enjoy your stay. A particular highlight is the different daytime and night-time entertainment programs as well as the shows and thematic dinners.
“ I have stayed at this hotel before and loved it. The hotel staff were as friendly and helpful as ever however the food quality was very disappointing this time round. Great even entertainment.

“ It was very busy, even though we were out of season. The food was very repetitive and often cold, although there was a microwave to heat it up. The pools were dirty, but it was autumn and the leaves and twigs were falling into the pools, which were cleaned each morning, but needed more regular cleaning.
