“ Have to say that I was really surprised at this hotel. Hadn't expected much as it was a 3 star. I went with my 8 year old son. We went half board for 5 nights and were pleasently surprised. Hotel is a bit dated alright but it is clean with the room cleaned each morning and towels changed either every day or 2nd day. The food is fairly ok too and is served buffet style with different options available each night so you will always find something. The hotel is very central - close to beach, restaurants and the shopping area. Bus to Port Aventura, Cambrillis, Barcelona, etc. is only a 2 min walk away. Have to say that the only downside for us was that the hotel entertainment at night is totally deafening and our room was located right smack above the poolside bar area so be prepared to stay out and about until 12 midnight each evening but that wasn't too hard at all. Would we stay here again, definitely yes.

“ This hotel basically as described on the website. Food and accommodation was average and reasonably good value for the price. It was noisy at night which may be a consideration for some.

“ The hotel at first represented good value for money. The food at the restraunt was good if not a little basic. Situated quite close to usual shops and bars but a little distance from the main strip. Staff were helpful the room was clean and tidy but the air-conditioning was rubbish. I stayed in room 218 which sits on the main road across from a "locals" apartment complex that got lively at 4.30am through to 8 each morning causing lack of sleep which is the only yet main reason I'd advise to stay at one of the other hotels within the chain such as San fransico or las angeles which we passed at times
“ Top Tip: House of illusion magic show, nice small independent run place full of charm n mega effort from the staff who are obv a nicely nit team. I took my 9 year old sun who really enjoyed it too. Perfect blend of cheese, showmanship yet not taken too seriously. Highly recommended

“ Good location of the hotel-near to bus stop,supermarkets (across the road),restaurants,main street,beach.Food very good(buffet type),lots of choices for breakfast & dinner(even if you're vegetarian).The only minus was not having fridge in the room,but we had half board so we didn't need it much...and supermarket is across the road.Had great time in this hotel and would recommend it to young couples & families!

“ unfortunatley it rained most of the time, so everyone was in hotel. Its a shame that the staff didn`t do more with the guest to keep them entertained.

Built in 1973 the hotel was completely renovated in 2006. It offers a total of 262 double rooms spread over 5 floors. Guests are offered a pleasant lobby with lifts, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. It also has a games room, a TV room, a newspaper stand, a shop, a cafe and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs available for small children. Medical services and parking facilities are also available (additional fees apply) and younger guests may enjoy letting off steam in the play area or in the kids club.
“ Solo traveler, I had my visit here 11 Oct 2011. Weather fab, met great people, staff very friendly and helpful. A homely atmosphere. I went half board which was perfect for me, as I like to do my own thing during the day.

“ It was very busy, even though we were out of season. The food was very repetitive and often cold, although there was a microwave to heat it up. The pools were dirty, but it was autumn and the leaves and twigs were falling into the pools, which were cleaned each morning, but needed more regular cleaning.
