Best Oasis Park Hotel

“ nice hotel. mainly spanish orientated as no english entertainment. great pools for kids and adults, play area and clean hotel rooms.

“ Top Tip: stay on floor 6 or 7 as they have been done up and more modernised. excellent location for everything. shops, bars, restaurants and beach all within 5-10 min walking distance. bus stop and train around salou resorts right outside hotel.

“ The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the twin room that I was allocated was very clean and comfortable.

However it was the Spanish holiday period when the Spanish Government pays for twp weeks holiday for the senior citizens so the hotel was quite busy. The entertainment was all announced in Spanish and the food was not up to the standard I would expect. The cooked breakfast was cold every day as were most of the meals. You could get a limited amount cooked while you waited but it meant queueing.

The second week was better when more British people started to arrive. I enjoyed the holiday, especially the lovely weather but I would not stay at the Oasis Park again.

“ Top Tip: If you come out ovf the hotel and turn left you will come to the Metropolitan at the corner. It is a very nice place to eat and the drinks are reasonable. If you turn left and go up the hill and then follow the road down to the beach you will find a lovelyu walk into Salou with small beaches and a wooden walkway with plenty of seats and shady spots to resr.

Otherwise if you come out of the hotel and turn left and just keep walking its all on the level and takes you to the main beach passing lots of shops; cafes and bars.

“ The hotel did everything they could to accomodate us. I was travelling with my parents (70 years old) and the receptionist upon arrival made sure we had rooms adjacent to one another and that they were close to the lift.

No request was too much trouble and on our last day, the receptionist arranged for us to hold our room for a couple of hours after check-in.

Bar staff were excellent, courteous and polite, and although spoke excellent English, they did appreciate a few Spanish drinks requests!

Excellent value hotel, in a great location, although a good 15 minute walk from the beach, the pool area was a great way to spend the day relaxing.

“ Top Tip: Just across the road is Jacks Bar, owned by a british family serving great food and a great atmosphere.

“ food cold don't go in april beleive spanish month only one other family english full of elderly spanish all entertainment in spanish one night had a spanish kareoke for the over seventies as no one under that age the other english couple had young boy of 10 and baby of 2yrs and had to leave the entertaining room as the spanish kept telling them to be quite as you could not even cough they would tell story about the song they were about to sing and all sounded the same and so morbid also they were so rude one man hit my friend with his bag and told her she was stupid could not get in and out of lifts one night my friend tryed to get out of lift they pushed her back in and went up to sixth floor down to 4th back to sixth before she could get to the bottom and she is a sixty one year old not a young kid the rooms were nice and clean staff were nice but the food not vert edible and so cold even the breakfast was cold.

“ Top Tip: whent to market in tarragona on bus was good day and also cambrllis easy to get to bus just outside hotel.
