This hotel was built in 1976 and was completely renovated in 2006. It offers 6 floors and a total of 390 rooms. The facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lift, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a games room and a TV room. In addition, it offers a cosy cafe, bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs for younger guests. Medical assistance is also on offer for guests, should it be required. The hotel offers younger guests a playground.This hotel is wonderfully located at the heart of Salou, right in the tourist centre, 10 minutes far from the beach and 3km from Port Aventura Park. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the vicinity. Public transport departs for the centre from a stop approximately 50 m from the hotel.All of the friendly, modern rooms are fitted with an en suite complete bathroom, terrace, magnetic security lock, telephone, satellite TV, central heating, air conditioning in season and optional safe box.The hotel features a pool with a paddling pool, a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols, a gym, pool table, a solarium. Sun loungers and parasols are available to guests on the beach. Moreover the Hotel offers a day and night entertainment programme. As optional services, the Hotel offers: Spa zone with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, scotish shower, relax lounge, hairdressers, beauty and massage salon. “ Hotel in great need of refurb' rooms and public areas. Food was of poor quality and cold most of the time, waiter service was forgotten at times leaving us without a drink with our meal. Hotel is in great location near to beach, shops, bars and bus service. It is very run down and tired which is a shame because it is a great size with 4 pools and games machines and playground for the kids. Broken floor tiles in the rooms and public areas seemed to be over looked, needs new furniture and textiles and repairs to be carried out before it opens up next season.
“ Top Tip: Great places to eat Olivers (used to be called chippys) lovely breakfast, The old brown cow is at the back of Robin hood they do great ribs and desserts. The rose and crown is lovely, Anne marie and Albert make you feel welcome and do evening entertainment every night beer is 2.30e a pint and snacks served all day.

“ Stayed at the oasis many times, at all times of the year from end of march until mid october, with fellow guests ranging from spanish youngster on term break to spanish pensioners on their state annual break. The staff has always been excellent, curteous and most helpful and friendly. However unfortunately on this stay, with a majority of British all inclusive guests it was so noisy and raucous that we were forced eventually to check out early and move to another hotel. In addition we were in the still un-renovated rooms in the hotel, with broken wardrobe door mirror taped up in one room, and a shower which in the second room which kept on breaking, plus an ajoining rooms toilet continually overflowing.

“ I stayed at this hotel 13th-23rd September 2011 with my husband and our three young children (aged 23 months, 4 years, and almost 6). The hotel itself, we found, was clean and very well presented. The front lobby area was comfortable and inviting.

“ It was very busy, even though we were out of season. The food was very repetitive and often cold, although there was a microwave to heat it up. The pools were dirty, but it was autumn and the leaves and twigs were falling into the pools, which were cleaned each morning, but needed more regular cleaning.

The hotel consists of 294 rooms over 5 floors. “ Although the hotel was a 4 star and rooms reflect that , the food was not . The reason it has 4 starts is that it had a gym and an indoor pool. The evening entertainment was the same most evening - very old fashioned music and dancing. Although I am nearly 60 I young at heart and so is my husband - we like a bit of fun - we are not on deaths door yet!
