H10 Vintage Salou (H10 Europa Park)
Salou, Costa Dorada, Spain
“ My Husband and I have just returned from a week's stay at the H10 Vintage Salou. We arrived at the hotel at 11.00pm and found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. We were told that as we had missed our evening meal we could have a complimentary lunch which we had on our last day.10.0 Spectacular

“ Beautiful hotel. Air conditioning in the rooms was a real bonus. Rooms were cleaned every day. Beach was approximately 10 minutes walk away although it didn't pose a problem for us. Would've liked to use the gym and wellness suite facilities but children under 16 years of age aren't allowed.8.9 Excellent

“ My Husband and I have just returned from a week's stay at the H10 Vintage Salou. We arrived at the hotel at 11.00pm and found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. We were told that as we had missed our evening meal we could have a complimentary lunch which we had on our last day. Our room was 606 literally on the roof. Our room was small but very clean. We had a large terrace with table, chairs and two sun beds. The only downside of being on the roof was that we could not see the pool area from the balcony. The beds are very firm but we found them very comfortable. The choice of food in the restaurant was exceptional. Plenty of fresh fruit both for breakfast and evening meal. Always a good choice of meats and fish with a Chef cooking food to your liking. The pool area was very clean with plenty of sunbeds. The pool had its own friendly lifeguard called Luciano. The evening entertainment was very good with professional acts every night. We were so impressed with the hotel that we are planning to stay there again next year.
“ Top Tip: We recommend a trip to Reus only a few euros on the Plana bus just outside the hotel. Another place to visit is Cambrils. Plan your visit around the fishing boats coming back to off load their catch of the day.

Beautiful hotel. Air conditioning in the rooms was a real bonus. Rooms were cleaned every day. Beach was approximately 10 minutes walk away although it didn't pose a problem for us. Would've liked to use the gym and wellness suite facilities but children under 16 years of age aren't allowed. There were no alternative options for myself, being a single parent traveller.
Good variety of foods on offer at mealtimes and of good quality. Bottled drinks were expensive at £2.13 for 500ml (Fanta & Pepsi) though. Adult entertainment didn't start until after 10pm which we did find a little awkward as we ate at around 7.30-8pm and had a gap to fill before it started. There weren't enough parking spaces on the hotel grounds, I had hired a car and had to park about 10 minutes walk away for the first few days. However, I did manage to 'snuggle' into the corner between others cars for the last few days.
One criticism would be that, on the morning of departure, I had ordered an early morning breakfast (6.45am). The breakfast was very disappointing — a selection of cold meat & cheese, 3 plain slices of bread (toaster was not powered on), a croissant, a small cake bar, a selection of jams & marmalades, a couple of crackers, an apple and an orange and a bottle of water. Something more substantial would have been more appropriate for our long journey to Barcelona airport. Also, inappropriate for my 10-year-old Son.
Overall, a good hotel and deserving of it's four stars.
“ Top Tip: 'The Titanic at O'Briens' Pub & Restaurant served a good quality meal. There is a Burger King and McDonald's on the beach front about 10 minutes walk away.

“ Just returned on 21st August after a delightful stay at the hotel along with my wife and children aged 6 and 4. Food is nice and different every time. Restaurant manager Jesusa treated us specially after knowing our dietary requirement and provided us with additional dishes. I had to receive an important call and the Reception guy provided me with the phone and special room to take the call. So the staff is really nice and cooperative. Beach is nice and clean although its about 10 - 15 minutes walk from hotel which sometimes is too much for children in extreme heat. Plenty of restaurants all the way with wide variety of food. Pool is nice and clean and safe and the best part is the evening performances every night from different performers. Children loved the holidays and returned back very happy. Slight issues with house keeping, you have to sometimes ask them to come for cleaning. Although driving is safe and traffic free, parking is a real nightmare. SO main advice for you to better take the private transfers instead of renting car as I spend almost 60 Euros in parking fees and then left the car for 4 days once found the free parking and didn't use the vehicle at all.
“ Top Tip: A super market just next door, very handy for purchasing water bottles, drinks and sandwiches for quick snack instead of using expensive room service.

It's was our first stay at the hotel with other family members and we had a great time. My nighty went missing on day two, presumably gathered in the linen when the maid changed the bed. I reported this and despite laundry being sent off site they managed to track it down and return it ;-)
The hotel is exceptionally clean and very modern however, the pool is not for young children. It has no shallow end so if your child is not overly confident jumping straight in then you will find yourself wandering to the beach, which is a short walk away.

“ Hotel was brilliant, food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Minutes from beach and theme park.
“ Top Tip: A pub called Jack Daniels.
