Beautiful Hotel, lovely spacious clean rooms.
Towels changed every day.
Free pack in hotel with after sun, shoe polish sponge, needle and thread pack, body lotion, paper hankies. Also soap, shower gel, which are all replenished when required.
Shower is the best I have had abroad + hairdryer.
The room had a fridge, cooker, couple of pots, dishes, cutlery.
It also has tv, but if you are looking to watch tv there is only 4 channels in English and they are all news.
In the pool area they had games in the afternoon for adults, and they also have a kids club.
It is also the first hotel where the sun loungers did not have towels on them before 10am.
I think due to the time of season these facilities did not seem well used.
The entertainment at night only seemed to start on the Saturday.
We arrived on the Tuesday. The show on the Saurday was well presented but unless you get a seat near the stage, your view is very restricted by pillars.
Sunday was bingo.
Monday was a quiz.
It seemed to be another show on Tuesday, but we were leaving Tuesday morning.
There was free Wi Fi if you needed it, Pool tables, Hockey table, 4 Computer games machines.
Fitness and well being facilitys.
The dining room and bar were spotless.
This hotel is half board or self catering.
If you are looking for British food then this is not the place for you!
We managed to get by but just.
On a Wednesday they have a fish night! Everything was fish, hot or cold. They had a veal stew that did not look very appealing,so I thought I would have a salad but it was fish or prawns still in their shells. Not one bit of cold meat and I did not fancy any of their made up salads.
Thank goodness for soup, bread and chips.
The hotel seems to cater for all other European countries.
Please don't get me wrong all the food if you like it was fresh, but it was not for us.
Same at breakfast there was plenty juice, cereal, ham, salami, other types of cold meats and cheese. The rolls and bread was plentifull and various types you could cut yourself.
The cooked brekfast had fried eggs one day then scrambled eggs the next, but boiled eggs every day.Plus beans.
It had the usual Spanish bacon one day but it was some other grilled ham the next day, sorry but it did not appeal to us.
The staff were very efficient but if you need to use your knife again dont leave it on your main plate as it wont be there when you get back. There is plenty cutlery around the resturant so no need to panic, ha,ha.
Drinks in the bar vary but mostly 5 euros.
The waiter brings your drink, best nip in quantity I had the whole holiday.
Very quiet hotel if you are looking for a relaxing time.
I would use this hotel again, but would go self catering!

Top Tip:
1 min from beach, couple of mins from harbour.
In the centre of new town and old town.
Water fountain display across the road from hotel, big fountain at far end of prom, lighting display Fri, Sat & Sun. Worth seeing.
Couple of mins from bus station and railway station.
Good Irish pub in new town Danny Boys.
If you are looking for good grub go to Jacks Cafe which is also run by the people who has the Rovers Return Bar, situated right at the far end of the main drag of new town.

“ Firstly the rooms were very small and cooking facilities poor. There was no kettle, only a small saucepan and small frying pan.No wine glasses, water glasses, corkscrew, bottle or tin opener. No bread knife, sharp knife, toaster, coffee or teapot.Simply the very basics and a 2 ring cooker of which only one ring functioned. The rooms however were clean. The hairdryer was hose type, pretty useless if u want to style ur hair. There were no bedside tables and this is a problem if like us u read in bed or simply want somewhere to put ur watch. This may be a 4 star but you are paying for the facilities i.e.spa,kids club, entertainment. The food was sufficient at breakfast but don't expect cooked English. There were plenty choices of braed ,rolls, cold cuts, fruit, cheeses, yoghurt etc.Luke warm mini party sausages, fried ham, eggs, beans etc.Dinner is most certainly not 4 star fare so don't expect it and much of what is left over is recycled for next days meals. This hotel though pretty and on the promenade is not worthy of 4 star ,though the bar prices are 4 star.Would not return as have stayed in far superior in this area which are 3 star and represent excellent value for money.Oh!and the majority of staff except for those at reception need lessons in manners. We found them rude, unhelpful and plainly disinterested.
“ Top Tip: Supermarkets 2mins walk.Right on prom to old town, cafes doing menu del dia for 9-12 Eu.Left to new town, shops, bars,Mcdonalds,Burger King,Baguette Express (Pans),Tabacs.Dont buy bar drinks and buy screw top wine.
