Renovated in 2001, this hotel comprises a main building and an annexe block (both with 7 floors) and a total of 315 rooms of which 309 are double rooms and 7 are wheelchair accessible rooms. There is a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange facility and lifts. In addition, a cafe, a music bar, a TV room, a games room, a restaurant and a public Internet terminal feature amongst this hotel's many facilities. Furthermore, there is medical assistance, a kids' club and a playground on offer.This hotel is located at the heart of the tourist centre of the town approximately 100 m from the nearest beach. Countless shopping venues, bars, restaurants and nightclubs are to be found in the vicinity (100 m - 500 m away). The airport can easily be reached on public transport in just 15 minutes.The welcoming, air-conditioned rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a fridge and a safe (both payable on-site) as well as a balcony.In the garden complex are 2 swimming pools, parasols and sun loungers. Sports opportunities include aquafit sessions and aerobics, football, archery and, for an additional fee, mini golf and table tennis. In addition, there is the opportunity to play darts or bocce and use the bowling and pool/snooker facilities. For adults as well as children, there is also an entertainment programme, for example evening shows.Come off the AP7 at exit 35, On entering Salou head towards Plaza Europa (large roundabout) Turn off at Avenida Andorra then take C/ Bruselas. Drive up the road and near the end you will see the hotel on the left. The C-32 and the AP-2 both join up with the AP-7.

“ The Hotel Playa Park was good for familys or couples,the food was good but could of been a bit warmer,the rooms were very clean and tidy,the reception staff were good on the whole but if you were going to book any trips they didnt seem to know where you were picked up from and were not realy bothred as long as you handed your money over this happened to us when we went to the karking took all day to get the free bus as we were sent from one stop to the other.some of the staff had good english but most were not that fluent,all in all travel republic were very good and we would use them again

“ hotel was clean but very standard, cleaners came in everyday made beds and changed towels, reception staff were very unpleasant, not helpful at all, safe was 29 euro, joke! had to get taxis everynight as the nightlife and resturants were a good 20mins walk and not very nice as you were polluted by the staff from bars and resturants on route. food in salou itself wasnt great full of pizza places that was really all, great irish bars though and food was great in them. pool at the hotel wasnt great had no outside pool bar and at no part of the day did the sun hit the pool area at all, so we had to go to the beach everyday. breakfast in the hotel was ok the only thing you could really eat was chips and beans, fry wasnt nice at all. beach was lovely, we went in sept and the crowd was unreal alot of french and german and they were so rude. but all in all great holiday just dont know if id rush back to this area!
