Nice welcome on arrival, quickly sorted out paperwork and straight upto a larger than expected room with a large bathroom. Both very clean and welcoming. Black out curtains that did what they were meant to do, so much that the first night i got up and couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Left a light on after that!! We went at the end of September so no kids, and no trouble getting a sun bed even at lunchtime.
Breakfast is on until 10.30am and there is so much to choose from. I would suggest eating out on the terrace is it so nice at any time of day. In the morning the sun was just coming over the top of the buildings, at lunch time it is lovely and cool, and romantic in the evening. We went to the beach every morning after breakfast and power walked with the locals down to the harbor wall and back again. This usually took about an hour then a stroll back to the hotel around noon, and straight onto a sun bed.
Spot of sunbathing until 2pm then off for some lunch. Again so much to choose from and you can also choose to have certain food cooked in front of you while you wait. The Fish was the best i have ever tasted.
The pool was cold and took your breath away but after a couple of lengths you soon forgot about it. The pool area was spotlessly clean, with the life guard constantly going around picking up any rubbish. There was also a pool bar where all drinks were available plus food cooked to order.
Entertainment staff worked very hard to get us off our sun beds and were very friendly. No matter what age or ability you were included.
Dinner again was plentiful and food could be cook in front of you while you waited.
The room was cleaned everyday and we were given fresh soft white towels everyday which we were not expecting as we left them to be used again the next day but we kept getting fresh ones. Even the bed linen was changed after a couple of days, lovely.
I would suggest asking for a room facing the front of the hotel as it was at times a little noisy from the dinning room as we were just above it. Also the early deliveries and rubbish collections where on our side of the hotel.
All in all we had a fab time and are already saving to go back next year.
“ Top Tip: Travel on the little train that goes along the sea front. For 3 euro's it took us all around Salou and lasted nearly an hour.

“ The hotel was great staff very helpful and friendly The 3 Entertainers were excellent they kept you occupied with the games around the pool great fun. The only thing I was not happy about was the food it had a good choice if you like that sort of food was sick of salad thou. But overall had a fab time would go back again
