An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located within walking distance (between 300 to 500 m away). It is approximately 500 m to the sandy beach and public transport is located directly in front of the hotel.All of the rooms are tastefully furnished and come fitted with an en suite bathroom and a hairdryer. Moreover, they are fitted with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a stereo, Wifi, a minibar and a central heating as standard.A swimming pool with parasols and sun loungers is located in the hotel grounds.

“ Great pool even though the rest of the hotel is getting a bit tired. Good breakfast. Pity about the building site next door. Not any disturbance just in the way.
“ Top Tip: Tarragona is a fantastic place. A short walk up to the old town and the Roman ruins and a beautiful cathedral. Plenty of bars and restaurants, too, both in the old town and south on the Ramblas. Very good beach if you turn left at the bottom of the lane that runs down by the hotel. The nearest beach, to the right, isn't as good. Train into Barcelona is an easy day trip but you need a cab to the station. Likewise the bus to and from Barcelona airport.

“ The Astari is a business hotel just off the city centre with a swimming pool and near the beach. It is above average for a 3 star hotel especially when they finish rebuilding the terrace.
“
Top Tip:
There is a great restaurant within walking distance called The Blue House. It is where locals no only eat but go for special occassions, birthdays, weddings etc. It's not cheap but all the food is home made by good chefs. There is a true gourmet restaurant across the road with the same owners but The Blue House is the cheaper of the two.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the old town which a long walk/short taxi ride away.
