“ For a budget hotel this one could not be faulted. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the hotel itself is small and friendly and the staff very polite, although there is sometimes a language barrier if you do not speak Spanish. The cafe/bar on the ground floor is excellent. The coffee is very good, as is the food considering the bar staff do all the cooking as well. There is a small terrace at the front of the hotel which is great for enjoying a drink in the sunshine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a cheap stay in Tarragona. The only downside if you can call it one, is that its a 10 minute walk to the centre and a little bit further to the Old Town.

“ An ideal budget hotel with no frills. Location is a little out of the centre of Tarragona but within easy walking distance. Hotel is clean and tidy. the rooms are good and the bathroom facilities I thought were excellent for a budget hotel - far better than a Travelodge. There is a small cafe bar on the ground floor that serves snacks and drinks at reasonable prices and the alcohol in large measures.
On sunny days there is an outside seating area to enjoy your drinks. Stayed there on business last week and have just booked to return there next week.

“ Top Tip: Well worth a long walk or a taxi ride for 9 euro to the Placa de la font. Ate in the unusually named Txantxangorri, a traditional tapas bar with a good menu and excellent wines.

“ Top Tip: Local restaurant across road from hotel - traditionally Spanish and extremely helpful in spite of lateness of hour.

“ The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was quiet, because it was a little out of town, but that was not a problem, as there were enough buses that serviced the area.
The rooms would have been ideal if they had contained fridges, but apart from that small niggle, the hotel was very good.
