Lux Bormujos Hotel

“ A very modern hotel in a development with a Macdonalds & Chinese Buffett & Multiplex Cinema. Near to a bus route into Seville. Also near to the charming town of Bomujos with shops & bars. The Room Service was very good & the room very clean.

“ I booked this hotel because I saw in the advertisment that it had a swimming pool. I promised my two children back in England before going there that they would be able to enjoy their every day swim. Having got to the hotel I was told that the swimming pool is only open during the summer season and that in October it wasn't in service anymore. Every day we had a pleasant 27 degrees sufficient enough to enjoy some warm water. The hotel was unfortunetly also 2 hours away from the beach which is a little too far to use as an alternative swimming opportunity.

Another disappointment I had to encounter was when I placed my clean cloths in the top shelf of the wardrobe and took it out the next day it was covered in a mixture of dirt and dust as the cleaning personal does not reach the top shelf of the wardrobe.

The remote control of the television went flat the second day.

It was not possible to make any outgoing calls from the phone the room had and the airconditioning wasn't cooling the room.

“ Top Tip: nothing special. It was really quiet there in the whole area.

“ The apartment was very nice, spacious and clean. The only problem was the lack of eating and cooking utensils and crockery.

“ Top Tip: We stayed here for a visit to Skydive Spain, which was only a 10/15 minute drive away.

“ Hotel was clean and tidy upon arrival and cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, beds were made and new towels provided every day. Bed linen was changed twice during our 10 days. The only down side was the limited equipment in the kitchen, coffee cups had to be borrowed from the restaurant and pots and pans were limited. However the weather was so hot we soon gave up with the idea of cooking and settled for salads or eating out.

“ Top Tip: Although there are a few tourist hotels nearby the area is not set up for tourists. There are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away which appear to be used mainly by locals, so if you are comfortable in that environment it should be ideal. The local supermarket is only two minutes away and had everything we needed.
