I booked this hotel because I saw in the advertisment that it had a swimming pool. I promised my two children back in England before going there that they would be able to enjoy their every day swim. Having got to the hotel I was told that the swimming pool is only open during the summer season and that in October it wasn't in service anymore. Every day we had a pleasant 27 degrees sufficient enough to enjoy some warm water. The hotel was unfortunetly also 2 hours away from the beach which is a little too far to use as an alternative swimming opportunity.
Another disappointment I had to encounter was when I placed my clean cloths in the top shelf of the wardrobe and took it out the next day it was covered in a mixture of dirt and dust as the cleaning personal does not reach the top shelf of the wardrobe.
The remote control of the television went flat the second day.
It was not possible to make any outgoing calls from the phone the room had and the airconditioning wasn't cooling the room.

“ Top Tip: it is just s short walk into the town for bars restaurants and shops and a short bus ride into Seville itself. The buses run very regularly and are cheap

“ The apartment was very nice, spacious and clean. The only problem was the lack of eating and cooking utensils and crockery.
“ Top Tip: We stayed here for a visit to Skydive Spain, which was only a 10/15 minute drive away.

“ Hotel was clean and tidy upon arrival and cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, beds were made and new towels provided every day. Bed linen was changed twice during our 10 days. The only down side was the limited equipment in the kitchen, coffee cups had to be borrowed from the restaurant and pots and pans were limited. However the weather was so hot we soon gave up with the idea of cooking and settled for salads or eating out.
“ Top Tip: Although there are a few tourist hotels nearby the area is not set up for tourists. There are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away which appear to be used mainly by locals, so if you are comfortable in that environment it should be ideal. The local supermarket is only two minutes away and had everything we needed.

Very helpful & informative staff. Apartment was great value for money and clean. Communal areas (lifts, stairs etc) were not so clean. Perfectly located for Ikea. Could do with directions on website - very tricky to find this apartment block.
Would stay there again.

The Murillo hotel is ideally located in the historical and very charming centre of Seville, in the famous area of Santa Cruz. All the main sightseeing attractions including the Cathedral, the Alcazar Palace and the Giralda are located nearby. This property has recently been renovated to a modern and attractive standard. All rooms are equipped with facilities including telephone, cable television, modem connection, air conditioning and a full bathroom with hairdryer.
“ Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, room cleaned everyday. Rooms not huge but excellent value for what we paid, would not hesitate to use again. Location superb, simply walk out the door and you are in the heart of the old part.

“ Chose hotel as driving to Seville wanted car parking - on street ( free) or hotel car park ( 14 euros per night) - just a 10 min bus ride to Seville. Massive choice of excellent buffet breakfast - rooms spacious modern and attention to detail. Staff friendly and professional.
