“ Good hotel in the city centre which would benefit from an update and friendlier staff

“ Excellent location in Saville. Tram stops outside straight to all famous sites. Cafes etc. nearby. Lovely Plaza to sit in right outside. Also taxis. Very good valet car parking 16 euros. Plentiful breakfast and staff all speak English. Nice clean room with slippers and soaps etc. and bidet. If no breakfast included which it was, there is a lovely little coffee and pastry shop attached to the hotel. Would recommend this hotel as an excellent place to stay in Saville.

“ Staff were friendly but only one spoke (broken) English. My Spanish, although I am currently learning, is pretty poor and I struggled to communicate with the staff.

The room provided was comfortable, with blackout blinds to keep the sun out. No wifi (only available on the first two floors and lobby). The rooms were cleaned thoroughly and frequently. Major issue: the noise - not from outside but from within the hotel! The doors slammed and you could clearly hear your neighbours (I had a crying baby next door) as all the floors are wooden, there's no carpet. Take earplugs with you, although these were not sufficient to block out slamming doors.

Ideal for older couples or young families - I do not recommend for young or single travellers as people / staff are not very communicative.

“ Top Tip: If you're not much of a Spanish speaker you will struggle in Seville! Although there are a few places close to the 'tourist' areas around the Cathedral where staff speak a little English, elsewhere is a struggle.

I really enjoyed the Triana area but struggled only with the language barrier.

As a young, single, female traveller I was met with some bemused looks and harassed a little in Seville - but nothing of concern. Alameda should not be ventured alone!

“ A very central hotel close to all the sights. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. We even had our own terrace overlooking the cathedral!
The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food and fresh fruit.
The staff are attentive and efficient.
The bar is well run and famous for its cocktails.

“ Top Tip: There is an excellent restaurant close by called Horacio in c/Antonia Diaz. They are
very welcoming and the food is great.
