Las Casas de los Mercaderes is situated right in the centre of Seville's commercial district between the Plaza del Salvador and Plaza San Francisco, close to the Cathedral and “Calle Serpes” street. The hotel has 47 comfortable rooms all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, telephone, hairdryer and safety deposit box. The hotel has an 18th century inner courtyard, where guests can relax with a drink and enjoy the bright and airy atmosphere with authentic Andalusian style architecture.

A very nice hotel situated in the Old Town close to Cathedral and other cental attractions
The hotel was very clean - room was a good size. The Bathroom was good with some toiletries provided . However, the Shower head had a mind of it's own!
There are plenty of restaurants / tapas bars close by.
I would use the hotel again.
On the negative side the hotel is difficult to find if you are driving but this most probably applies to most of the hotels in the old town.
The Hote advertises it has a Car Park - which is true but it only has 3 car park spaces!! So if you are driving it is best to try and book a space early. The hotel did direct us to a nearby 24 hour pubic car park which was only a short walking distance away but was difficult to access by car due to one way traffic system if you are not familiar with the area.

“ Wonderful reception, lovely clean hotel, ideally located in the centre of the old town. Only slight quibbles were 1. the lack of any outside space, and the fact my single room looked out onto other windows. 2. (And yes this is my problem not the hotels) As a single traveller I craved an English news channel on the TV...but then, you wouldnt get a Spanish channel in London ! On balance Id recommend the hotel, and stay there again
“ Top Tip: Use the tram and bus for easy airport access. Bonubus cards require a refundable deposit. The open top bus tour was the biggest waste of time and money - stick to foot power. (Usually these tours are great for acclimatisation in my experience, but in Seville, all the interesting sites are within walking distance). Menu del dias are a fab way of meeting the locals at lunchtime with a cool vin tinto...brilliant! ExploreSeville site has a great food translator....enjoy, you lucky people!

“ I booked 2 rooms, a triple and a double. Both were perfectly adequate with good bathrooms. My only complaint about the rooms is lack of natural light as the rooms had no windows which made it difficult to get up in the morning and see what the weather was like. The rooms and communal areas of the hotel are spotless and staff were obliging. We didn't opt for breakfast in the hotel as plenty of cafes around to choose from. The location is perfect - 5 mins walk from the cathedral ! I would definitely recommend to young and old and would book again if going to Seville.
“ Top Tip: The Quintero Alvarez Auditorium Flamenco Show each evening at 9pm lasting an hour for just 17 euros per person (a little less for kids). Good value considering most other shows priced at 30 euros and above. Also on the same street as the hotel so only a short walk back which was good for us as I was with young children and elderly mother.
