“ Hotel is clean, functional & comfortable, if a bit jaded about the edges. There is a lack of any tourist information in English (not even an English speaking news station on the TV). The location is a 20 - 30 minute hike into the Old Town and Cathedral area. But there are several restaurants and tapas bars in the local area, the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good when we ate there.

“ On booking in, the hotel was in the middle of a very busy period where there was some sort of sale/exhibition which involved the use of a microphone. The staff were struggling to cope and as such the public area toilet facilities were disgraceful - soiled and wet. The discounted room was directly above the event and from the start a woman speaking over the microphone became an integral part of our stay into the early evening. The room was of a good quality and when the event finished we started to enjoy our stay. We went to bed relatively early at 12 midnight as we needed to travel early the next day. At 3.30am I awoke to find that the hotel was adjoined by a night club and that our room was directly above and nearest to the club within the hotel. The intricate beats that drive dance music kept me awake until 6am in the morning when mercifully the club finished. I went to the all night reception and told them of the problem twice during the night (Indeed the noise was clearly and easily audible in the hotel lobby and thudding through the downstairs walls).They informed me that the club was nothing to do with the hotel and could offer me no solution. A dreadful stay and quite clear that the discounting of the room held a price that the room was uninhabitable due to noise pollution. The hotel staff showed no willingness to help me or offer any solutions to deal with the situation and on 2 occasions just shrugged when I asked for help.

“ stylish hotel, very good breakfast,nice swimming pool,not in center but plenty of restaurants,bars nearby.would stay here again no problem
