Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana Hotel

“ The hotel was in the process of being painted, which was some way towards improving its tired decor. seating in breakfast room plastic, seating in rooms plastic. suite in common area tired.There is no restaurant only a breakfast area, though there are many good eating establishments and tapas bars close by.don't even think of driving there, very narrow streets. there is no bar at the hotel, but a mini bar in room. food at breakfast ok but the same everyday.very central location walk to all of the sites. free water and juice 13.00 till midnight in common area ground floor. Pleasant staff. wi fi not too clever in parts of hotel, and free laptop connections hit and miss. Hotel staff very pleasant.

“ Great location, close enough to walk to the main attractions including the Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazares Reales, Plaza Espana as well as the main shopping street. Also there are many fine restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is in a narrow street which was hard to find even with an up to date satnav which took us to the no entry end of a one way street, add to this roads blocked off by workers and poorly parked cars. Nevertheless once found the restaurant staff were great, they assisted us to the car elevator which you need to get to the underground parking of the hotel-approx Eur 22 per day with taxes. The central courtyard is bright and welcoming. The free coffee machine was broken down throughout our stay but we could have coffee from the machine in the restaurant.

The room was a good size but the glass doors for the en-suite facilities were a definite negative. The glasswork looks nice and modern but it gives a feeling of lack of privacy. there is no sound proofing and anyone using the bathroom in the middle of the night will disturb others since the bathroom light also illuminates the bedrooms. So the glass partitioned bathrooms are impractical but modern looking

The beds were a nice size but the mattresses were quite firm, some may like this but I did not fine the mattress comfortable. Also the pillows were tires and lacked body or substance, perhaps ready for a change. In room coffee would also be a nice touch.

On the plus side, there was free wired and wi-fi internet in the bedrooms. A Dell laptop was provided which was really handy to check e-mails and to plan out the day.

“ Top Tip: Turn left outside the hotel to find a small Bazaar Alimentacion for snacks or drinks. There are a number of nice restaurants for breakfast as well as Tapas Bars near the Cathedral

“ Arrangements excellent, hotel v.good, beds a little firm, double bed was two singles pushed together, not great for our anniversary weekend !!
Location brilliant, easy walking to major tourist spots.
Masses of foody places in Seville.

“ Absolutely lovely hotel they even left us a gift to celebrate our wedding anniversay. The room was spotless and spacious huge bed huge shower;
The staff were quietlt helpful as in if you asked for something but the rest of the time you were left to enjoy the holiday. Breakfast good buffet the free coffee and cold drinks in the foyer were a godsend ,The laptop and wifi were useful and a nice bonus in finding things to do and watching the weather forecast

“ Top Tip: Wear good walking shoes especially if you are prone to getting lost we walked for miles all over the city we really loved it but our feet got sore,
we found great bars and restaurants but dont go to gorkis they take your order and then forget you
do visit cathedral, alcazhar casa pilotis and casa espana
