The hotel's reception area is beautifully decorated and air conditioned, however the rooms are not (at least the one we stayed in anyway!).
Our room was very clean, however it was a little dated and could have done with a bit of a refresh. It was a room facing onto the main road and got VERY hot as the sun shone in all day long, however the room did have a metal shutter so you could keep the sun at bay slightly.
The air conditioning was quite poor. It was situated next to the window and the fan was not powerful at all, but as we had 2 single beds pushed together we were able to move a single bed underneath the aircon so it was a little easier to sleep in the 30 degree heat.
We had room 204, please bear in mind that with a double glazed window AND the metal shutter closed, the road noise is still very bad and unfortunately we also had to put up with the noisy cleaners in their storeroom, right next to our room door - not good at 7am every morning! :(
Location was okay, just a short bus ride into town - you can get a Bonobus card (10 journeys) for 7.40 Euro or taxi one way was approx. 7 Euros.
We booked Virgen De Los Reyes as it seemed to be one of the cheapest, decent looking hotels in Seville as there seemed to be lots of 'hostels' listed when we were looking. If we were to book Seville again, I would definitely consider looking at a 'hostel' as ones we walked past in the centre seemed to look lovely and not what I would consider as a hostel at all.
“ Top Tip: If you are staying here at a weekend, please make sure you get breakfast at the hotel as all the locals are there and it's just great to stand and watch what's going on! Chaotic - Spanish ordering at it's best!!

“ The hotel is well maintained and the foyer is attractive and comfortable. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We thought that the price was very reasonable especially during the busy and popular Easter break. Our room was spacious, recently decorated and well equipped - however, the walls are quite thin. There was a good selection of food at breakfast and everything was fresh and well presented. It did take about 25 minutes to walk to the town centre but there are lots of good shops on the way - El Cortes Ingleses is very close.

“ Everything was perfect. Very clean and well maintained, but without excessive detail but neither was missing anything. The common areas also very clean and nicely decorated.
