Our third visit to Melia Sitges in 12 Months.
A mature couple having traveled Europe and the Far East over the years
and stayed in some of the best hotels on our Travels
We have now found the perfect Hotel and location.
10/10 in every aspect at Melia Sitges.
Nothing is too much trouble,from check in to checkout.
The rooms are spacious light and well appointed all with
stunning views.
Food is superb with breakfast which is the best you could wish for, to the Saffron Bistro with "Gastro Food" the best we enjoyed in Sitges very reasonably priced.
All in all a top Hotel in a fantastic location with staff who will make your stay memorable.

Very pleasant hotel but perhaps just on the wrong side of walking distance to Sitges - please don't get me wrong if you are fit and up for the walk its fine but it is a good ten minutes each way....
We booked a sea view room which was spacious and had everything you could need. There are English channels on the TV but all of them are news based (Sky, BBC, CNN, Bloomberg) - although I would suggest you watch some of the crackin' Spanish TV, Deal or no Deal, Million Pound Drop - quite animated it has to be said.... Our room also had a balcony.
Breakfast was great and its definatelty worth pre-booking as its about 20 plus euros per day at the hotel - absolutely loads of choice from fruit, cereals, breads, cooked and cold meats, cheeses. Never had any problems with tables at breakfast either even though the hotel was full (Sitges Film Festival).
The Wi-Fi is pretty expensive at 12 euros per day or 4 euros per hour though. Now I don't have any problem paying for Wi-Fi but we were there for a week and perhaps a degree of flexibility with this charge would go a long way - reception staff and hotel management take note!
On the whole we had a lovely stay here and would have no real problems either staying here again ourselves or recommending it to others. The standard of accommodation provided in Sitges is not great anywhere and the Melia is no exception but we did have a lovely time.
“ Top Tip: Take the coastal route to the town centre and you'll pass the naturist beach but shield those youngsters prying eyes!!!!!

Comfortable, good level hotel; great Breakfasts. Although walking distance to beach/restaurants/entertainment - it is a hilly walk (10mins) or can be a shorter walk to nearby Marina (very pretty, nice bars/restaurants), but this requires you to climb 145 steps down (and back, more to the point). These are, however, very close to the hotel, almost directly behind main hotel entrance.
In middle of quiet residential area - nice if you want to get away from hustle and bustle; not so good if you want to be in the centre of things and an 'easy' walk to facilities. Taxi's to town around 5/6 Euros; Taxi's to Barcelona Airport approx 80/90 Euros.
Would recommend, subject to above.

The Aiguadolce Marina, restaurants and bars; down the steps behind hotel was very nice (steps a bit of a killer coming back up)... although can take a gentler walk back up around the road (further though).
