Platjador Hotel

“ We found this hotel to be amazing! Loved everything about it. Location is perfect directly opposite the beach and fab views from the rooftop bar. The rooms are very nicewly designed we had a HUGE double bed with Egyptian Cotton sheets, a p'pillow service' is offered and although we had a pool view which overlooks houses and rooftops we loved it especially at about 6pm with a bottle of Cava on the balcony where we could sunbathe until 8.30pm. Free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel and pool area which is a great extra just to keep in touch with the world. A lovely Tapas bar is opposite the hotel on the beach front promenade, service is a little sloppy but highly reccommend the sardines!! All in all this was our first visit to Sitges and will certainly not be our last. We loved it so much wqe extended our original 5 days to 8 whilst there. Highly recommended and as for breakfast SUPERB choice, presentation and goes on until 12 noon so we used to go down about 11.30 am have the extensive salads and meats and cheeses as a lunch to keep us going until evening :)

“ Top Tip: The sardines opposite the hotel
Take a walk up to the stunning church where there is a lovely market on a Sunday
walk the back streets and you will find many hidden gems
Cafe Roy for lovely tapas especially Tortilla Espanaol

“ Excellent location,friendly staff.Clean rooms.Buffet breakfast was superb, so much choice.Food in restaurant in the evening was good value and plenty of choice.Would recommend to all.

“ This is a nice hotel in a great resort.The room we had was small with no balcony(just a small window)but had tv,dvd,fridge and safe.The bathroom was small and the entrance to the bath was through a small entrance in the side approx 2 feet wide!! anyone with mobility problems will have trouble here.The room was opposite a stair landing which was quite noisy with people going up and down the stairs.
The breakfast is a 5star treat with everthing you could ask for absolutley delicous.
But.
The restaurant attached to the hotel is definetly 1 star.We stayed a week half board and made a mistake.The food is bad.After such a treat at breakfast one wonders where it all goes wrong on an evening.

“ Top Tip: All the beaches and seafront are great.The promenade is lovely.
Wander around the town and old church area on an evening.

“ Our room was really lovely, and we had a balcony with view of the ppol which was great. The shower room had an amazing shower unit ! The whole hotel was clean and well looked after, everyday the maid came unless you put a "do not disturb" sign out. The facilities were also really good, the hydro pool had amazing jets and bubbles - but late april the water was freezing ! The roof top bar had stunning views and was hardly used (maybe because they didnt serve food up there). Breakfasts were huge, massive choice, friendly staff, and sensibly on till mid-day. The hotel was around the corner from shops, bars etc and across the road from the lovely beach. I would easily reccommend it and stay here again myself.
