El Sombrero Apartamentos are a charming accommodation situated in Los Gigantes, a beautiful, quiet yet urban area on the southwest coast of Tenerife, approximately 40 km from the airport. It is a wonderful holiday destination made for rest and relaxation. The Apartments offer a variety of facilities to ensure utmost comfort such as a pool bar, table tennis and swimming pools for both adults and children. At only 250m form the town center and 500m from the harbour, the El Sombrero Apartamentos are a perfect choice for a fun and peaceful getaway.
“ Helpfulness and service were brilliant. Location really convenient for everyything but quiet. Accommodation was good, clean and reasonable value. Nothing important was lacking. Beds were excruciatingly hard and pillows uncomfortable (though these were simply normal pillows in Spain). Mentioned this at the end of the stay and they were very willing to try to find something more suitable next time

Completely renovated resort offer 30 apartments, all with sea views. It has 24-hour reception with a small mini market included, a bar beside the pool with a children's section and a terrace for sunbathing.

Backed by dramatic cliffs, the Hotel Los Gigantes makes for an impressive sight. Hemmed by terracotta-topped villas and glossy palms, it sits right on the coast, looking out across the sea towards La Gomera. What’s more, it’s just a stone’s throw from the soft volcanic sands of Los Gigantes beach and there’s a picturesque marina close by, too. Location aside, the pool scene is a real talking point. There are two swimming pools to choose from, one saltwater and one freshwater, with the latter being the quieter of the two. For something a little more upbeat, the entertainment team organise games and competitions in and around the saltwater pool. The sun terrace, meanwhile, is peppered with sunloungers and parasols and makes the most of those fabulous sea views. Inside the hotel, modern and traditional décor is used to great effect. The lobby has mirrored pillars and a winding staircase while the bedrooms combine contemporary cream décor with classic dark wood furniture. Plus, they all come with air-cond
“ We have stayed inn this Hotel about 12 times- some guests have been coming back up to 60 or more times. It is consistently good. It is suited to older people which is what we as an older couple totally desire.

The apartment complex comprises a total of 91 apartments spread over 3 floors. In the entrance hall guests will find a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lifts. In addition, the hotel contains a restaurant, a bar, a games room and a TV room. The hotel also offers guests public Internet access (charges apply), and a laundry service (charges apply).
“ The actual Port Area was very quiet, however we knew this before we booked and it was just what we needed. The hotel was situated in the best part of Los Gigantes right in the port and they were very helpful when we needed to see a Dentist (one of us broke a tooth) they called and we got to see a local Dentist for advice free of charge.

“ FOOD VERY POOR COMPARED WITH MY LAST VISIT IN 2010.NOT COOKED PROPERLY,COLD,AND POOR QUALITY.COFFEE MACHINES NOT WORKING ON MANY OCCASIONS.BAR RECEPTION AND CLEANING FINE.WOULD NOT USE AGAIN.
