“ I traveld here on my own as my friend let me down i was a bit scared at first but nothing to worry about as everyone was great, staff & guests. very safe place & I would recommend it to anyone & I would go there on my own again.I made a few friends which you wouldn't do if you went with someone.done a few trips which was great.

Situated on a cliff top, with spectacular views of the Island of la Gomera and los Gigantes Cliffs. The Barcelo Santiago, with its unique architecture and recent refurbishment, offers sea views and direct access to a beach only 200 metres away, as well as a wide range of amenities including 3 swimming pools, 1 children's swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym, spa, a variety of sporting activities; tennis court, multi-sport court, miniclub, buffet restaurant, “ à la carte” grill restaurant, 4 bars (animation bar, reception bar, snack pool bar and La Tasca bar) and entertainment.
“ This hotel has an excellent position, with most of its rooms having a balcony looking out over the sea. Below are scenic rocks, crashing sea (at times), and the view takes in La Gomera island, boats sailing past, or the view across towards Los Gigantes and its massive cliffs, including the shoreline and view of attractive villas, and apartments climbing the cliffs precariously.

“ Big apartments with great balconies/views in nice area (more los gigantes than santiago really these) - quieter than americas and so on but plenty of facilities. No major problems with apartments but could do with a bit more tlc e.

“ Excellent location 20 minutes from the airport. Good value. Clean and tidy a could be a 4 star with a bit of work. Traffic noise from 6am - loud. Forget about the stunning views from the roof top terrace shown in the photo's ,you wont get near it ,a locked metal gate will deny you access , security reasons apparently.
