“ I was really happy with these apartments. Clean spacious quiet. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Yeh the hill is a bit of a killer but u get used to it theres a free bus we dint use but its there everyday. Would defo stay again and recommend!

“ Top Tip: Rodeo is a lush restaurant and walking distance just past the gran sur centre. Mercadona supermarket is in the gran sur too. Siam park is defo worth a day trip.

“ I stayed at the neptuno for a week with my husband from the 10th - 17th may 2012. We had only paid £300 including flights for the holiday and had read the reviews prior to going and not all were good. I can honestly say that this was a lovely apart hotel. A little basic but for what we wanted it was perfect. The apartments are a really good size. We had a kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster and hob, and a large fridge. The room was cleaned and beds made daily and our towels and linen was changed once during our stay.

There is a large supermarket and shopping complex about 5 minutes walk down the hill and further on from that across the main road there are a number of bars and restaurants to choose from. All are very reasonable in price. The walk back up the hill ( or cardiac hill as some people called it !) is something that you need to prepare yourself for. There is a slightly longer route back and the climb is not as steep, we took that one as our preferred option :).

We had no problem getting sunbeds or parasols, and you do need a parasol in the heat. The heated pool was not open during our stay but the main pool was not overly cold...once you had ducked under !!

All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The reception staff speak very good English and are always available for help and advice. We have stayed in this area many times over the last few years and we normally go in a private apartment, but I would definitely go back to the neptuno and would also stay longer. Definitely worth a visit

“ Top Tip: Restaurant on site is good value and does lovely food. Also if you are a steak lover go to Mario's a little further down on the opposite side of the road from laguna park 1 just near the Santander bank. The steak is the best I have had, you will not believe the size of it until you see it. VERY good value for money.

“ Great location, out of the way of noisy town.
If you look for great view from your balcony and quiet place - that's it.

“ Top Tip: If you plan to spend your holiday on the beach, don't bother with the car.
They have free bus to the Fanabe btwn 10.00 and 18.00
