Santa Maria Hotel

“ This Hotel is very nice and in a nice situation. However the apartments are pretty basic.

“ Top Tip: There are some great resteraunts near here, particularly Gordon Ramseys, very good value.

“ Great hotel , lovely rooms, great staff so close to everything stayed here 3 times now and cannot fault it! for a 3 star hotel it is spot on.....

just cant wait to go back now...

“ Top Tip: La pinta beach is best place to eat and drink .. 80p pint /£5 a 3 corse meal ( with euro exchnage rate now being 123) with great views overlooking the bay...

“ Just returned from another fantastic week at the Santa Maria with 15 other family members. This is a great hotel with friendly, helpful 24hr reception. Large pool area with life guard and plenty of sun loungers. Apartments vary in size but are all perfectly adequate, clean and well equipped. Ideal location for young and old, (although there's a bit of a hill coming back from the beach)

“ Top Tip: Las America's with the famous nightlife of Veronica's is a 15 min walk, but there are plenty of bars/restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. Try the 'Sunshine Bar & Cafe' next door, where Mark, Julie, Anna and staff serve the best breakfast (as well as snack/meals) and always have time for a chat and drink...very welcoming.

“ We cant praise the staff enough, we arrived at 2am in a morning and greeted with a smile unfortunately we had not requested a sea facing room and was put in a room overlooking the carpark but we were told we could change later that morning and sure enough this was arranged.
The room was okay sheets were clean but no mattress protecters on the beds and just a note on the cleaning unless you put out the sign on your door to say you require cleaning it appeared to us that it may be days before it gets done, we were on half board and nobody came in daily to clean.

The food and the restuarant staff were excellent and plenty of choice of food you could not complain for the price we paid and a restuarant manager who was there every evening overseeing that everything went smoothly.

If you rent a car you may have problems parking its a small carpark and sometimes we had to pay 4euros and park in the hotel underground which is handy but a pain having to pay, the only thing we can say is just before we left we think a barrier was being installed to stop the unauthorised parking from people not connected with the hotel.

This is an honest 3 star hotel with a great pool and bar area in a good location and will stay at again in the future, all in all a good experience with Travel Republic and the Hotel itself.
