“ The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are basic but clean. The beds are comfortable and the showers are very good. Its located 100 maters above the Plaza where there are some good restaurants and bars. It can get a little noise from the streets below but then no more than anywhere else I've stayed, though the hotel itself is quiet. The bar is comfortable and reasonably priced the staff are very friendly. I would certainly recommend it. I traveled alone and found it comfortable and reasonably priced.
“ Top Tip: El Medano in Tenerife is a beautiful place. The beaches are great, exploring the area is easy. I would advise visitors brush up on their Spanish. Try the Flashpoint bar.

“ This hotel exceeded our expectations. Although a 2-star hotel, there is a lift, the decor was pleasant, all, including the en suite bathroom, was very clean and we had a fridge in our room and a small balcony. The chap on reception spoke reasonable English, was very pleasant and showed us up to our room. If a room is all you require on a budget, then I would certainly recommend this hotel.

“ This hotel is in a great location but the hotel is in need of modernisation, the rooms are very small with no aircon so would not like to be there in the summer months, the beds are horrendous,had to put 2 blankets under the sheet to find a little comfort, the hotel is very dated and needs upgrading, would be ideal for students who are not to fussy.
“ Top Tip: El Madeno is a lovely little gem of a place, we have been many times as we like the less touristy places although this time the town was packed, the word must have got out about this little gem, the beach was jam packed with people so good for all the bussiness.
