“ Lovely spacious apartments but a little basic in the kitchen. Great pool area which has plenty of sunbeds and pool towels to use (upon a deposit). Location is not great in terms of resturants etc. Hotel entertainment is rather limited. Food is more than adequate and of good quality although a little repetitive at times.

“ Top Tip: If you want a bus trip to los cristianos or las americas then ensure you get on the 483 which is the fast bus (15mins) - all other buses to the same destination can take upto an hour plus.

“ Lovely hotel, rooms, food, staff but glaring omission that no bar is open for a pre-dinner drink between 18:00 hrs and 20:00 hrs. There is a bar connected to the hotel lobby but tragically it is leased out to a Third Party which does not recognise hotel guests' needs. It appears that this bar was once run by the hotel and open from noon till late, according to ancient brochures in the hotel rooms, and that is what the hotel needs urgently NOW. There is nowhere to socialise with other guests and new-found friends until after 9pm when the second-rate entertainment starts.

It is sad that Sky TV is not provided in the rooms, like other 4* hotels.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again, but one has to know its limitations.

A rental car and setting up one's own bar in the room are essentials.

“ Top Tip: There are few shops in Golf del Sur, but the supermarket in San Blas stands out for its excellence only a mile away - walking distance but not with much shopping, so a car is essential if staying at this hotel.
