“ An excellent hotel - always has been. I always try and stay at this one although slightly more expensive than others around.

“ Hotel well located, but la laguna is a site seeing town not a holiday area.
Hotel very nice but parking a car difficult.
Food in restuarant was very well presented but not well cooked.
Staff excellent and pleasant.

“ The Apartment Hotel was being refurbished but clearly with a view to improving quality and expanding (the rooms in use are in the refurbished part) and caused us little problem - the only minor issue was the limited space for breakfast at the moment. Pleasant, friendly & helpful staff. The Hotel is located in one of the better squares in La Laguna and offers easy access to the history of the old town or the restaurants in the new town - and the metro tram - at 30 mins into Santa Cruz for less than €3 return you don't even think about taking the car. Parking is a problem in many towns including La Laguna but there is considerable commuter traffic to the public car park ajacent to the Hotal creating adequate free parking at the end of siesta or working day. All in all an excellent break - complete with a local Fiesta on the Sunday in our case.

“ Top Tip: We enjoyed several excellent and good meals in La Laguna at a range of sophistication and price but it is worth the drive to El Monasterio to experience the best meal & wine (with superb views) during the whole of our 3 weeks on Tenerife. El Monasterio is actually a suite of restaurants offering wide variety in different buildings in what was an old Franciscan Monastery. It is located west of La Oratava south of the TF-5 motorway and up the mountain a little way at the village of La Montaneta.
