The staff, from the manager down were an absolute credit to the hotel, my wife and i were upgraded to a pool and sea view, and the room ( 112 ) was luxurious, spacious, incredibly comfortable and so relaxing.10.0 Spectacular

“ This is a wonderful hotel, listed as 5* and it is. It has a distinctive Mexican style reflected everywhere in rich colours, tiling and paintings as well as the way the staff are dressed. It's spacious with big and lofty public rooms, courtyards and restaurants. There were a surprising numbers of areas to wander around with comfortable seating in lots of places; its a fantastic place to relax. It has lovely gardens and a great pool with an abundance of sun-loungers. At different times of the day we breakfasted in the open courtyards, sunbathed, had coffee in the gardens and then had evening drinks in the hotel cafe and terrace overlooking the beach. We didn't use the Spa although we asked for a tour of its facilities (which are A1). All the staff were really friendly and professional. But in the evening the hotel seemed empty. The restaurants and bars were hardly used. There were plenty of people at breakfast but there were few guests around at night with most of its restaurants closed and its bars empty. There was plenty of nightlife only yards way but the hotel itself was very quiet - probably a good thing since our sleep was never disturbed!

“ The hotel is in a great location and the facilities are brilliant. Rooms are very large but are a bit dark due to decor and large thick curtains. Very close to shops, restaurants and beach. Lovely sea view from balcony. Nice beaches close to the hotel and pool was lovely with drinks service.
Restaurant on corner PIZZERIA LA TRATTORIA opposite hotel was excellent.
You don't need to hire a car in this location as everything is on your doorstep but we did for just one day to take a trip to the mountains which was well worth doing. The hotel arranged the car hire at a very reasonable price and it was dropped off and collected from hotel for us.

WE FOUND SOME OF THE STAFF TO BE QUITE RUDE
THE BARS WERE VERY SHORT STAFFED - WITH ONLY TWO STAFF RUNNING AN OUTSIDE BAR AND FOOD BETWEEN THEM AT LUNCH TIME - WE HAD TO WAIT 30 MINTUES FOR DELIVERY OF 3 SMOOTHIES FROM THE POOL BAR- NOT QUITE WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A FIVE STAR HOTEL
THE SECOND WEEK WAS VERY BUSY AND THE SUN LOUNGERS ROUND THE POOL ALL HAD TOWELS ON THEM FROM VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING - THE HOTEL BEACH WAS NOT VERY NICE
